What You'll Do
The Manager IT Controls position is part of the Controls & Compliance (C&C) team within Stanly Black & Decker's Global Accounting & Controllership organization and reports directly to the Global IT Senior Manager, Controls & Compliance. Stanley Black & Decker has a global footprint, and as a result, the C&C team works with various functions and management levels across the Company's Global Tools & Storage, Security, and Industrial segments. You'll get to:

Work with diverse teams across a global Company
Coordinate the maintenance of and regular review of the Global IT Control Framework
Design and coordinate the preparation and ongoing review of policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to ensure departments meet compliance with SBD's IT Control framework, company policies and industry regulations, including SOX 302 & 404 Compliance
Develop/update test plans of IT controls (design and operating effectiveness) to result in increased reliance by external audit
Collaborate with various functions and management levels to understand business process and control changes and analyze impact to control environment
Provide analysis to stakeholders on control gaps and collaborate on resolving such gaps
Monitor and/or execute various control activities to ensure compliance with frameworks and policies
SOC1 program development and annual management testing
Interacting with external auditors on matters related to audits of the organization's internal controls
Coordinating rollout and training of new or updated policies and directives when required
Identify control rationalization opportunities
Assist the team in reviewing Information Technology policies related to ITGCs and making appropriate recommendations
Assist the team with ad-hoc projects
Assist with Governance over Managed Service Provider [MSP] Support of Controls & Compliance Activities
Governance of Payment Card Industry [PCI] Directive and SBD Compliance

Knowledge of IT security, Infrastructure and General Computing Controls
Risk assessment: Ability to properly assess risks and determine appropriate risk rank
Analytical skills: An IT Auditor should be able to properly analyze various aspects of an organization's information system control environment.
Written and verbal communication: With all levels of the organization
Interpersonal skills: Given the wide variety of people an IT Auditor must speak to daily, they must be able to create working relationships and get along well with all types of people.
BS/BA degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Finance, or related area
Advanced Degree or Certification a plus
5+ years of experience with Sarbanes Oxley 404 & 302 compliance, Internal / External Audit or Corporate Controls and Compliance
Knowledge of control frameworks (SOX, COSO, COBIT, NIST / Cybersecurity, etc.)
Knowledge of compliance standards, financial processes, and Payment Card Industry [PCI] Standards a plus
SAP experience a plus
Relevant Industry (manufacturing) experience a plus
Ability to independently manage and successfully execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment
Strong oral and written communication skills (experience with PowerPoint preferred)
Passion for excellence and continuous improvement
Strong competency with advanced spreadsheet applications (Excel)
