Accountable for the performance and results of a team of programmers, developers and/or systems analysts.
Manage the technical direction/solution for assigned projects; ensure completion within time and budget constraints.

Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and other stakeholders.
Assist in annual budget planning.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, CIS or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or technically related field, or equivalent education/experience.
Minimum of 7 years of Core Java development experience.
Masters degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical field with 5 years of Core Java experience is also acceptable.
Strong knowledge in Java, OOD, Spring framework, and J2EE development.
Background in building out modern distributed applications or microservices.
Proficiency in relational databases, specifically DB2/SQL Server/JPA.
Agile development experience.
Microservices and REST based API development with Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
Development experience with cloud services providers, AWS preferred, utilizing EC2, ECS, S3, and Kinesis.
Background in leveraging Jenkins, and Docker or OpenShift or Kubernetes in a CI/CD pipeline.
Knowledge of build and deployment tools - Maven, Git, Jenkins.
Experience with API Gateways, Apache Camel, Swagger API, Zookeeper, and Kafka.
Understanding of NoSQL database technologies such as Apache Cassandra and Amazon DynamoDB.
