In the U.S., Agios markets a first-in-class pyruvate kinase (PK) activator for the treatment of hemolytic anemia in adults with PK deficiency. Building on the company's leadership in the field of cellular metabolism, Agios is advancing a robust clinical pipeline of investigational medicines with active and planned programs in alpha- and beta-thalassemia, sickle cell disease, pediatric PK deficiency and MDS-associated anemia. The impact you will make:

Agios is seeking to identify a dynamic Manager, Investor Relations Communications to join our growing Corporate Communications team. We want someone who cares about this important work, and who's driven to connect to our mission of helping these patient communities. This position reports to the VP, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications.

The Manager, Investor Relations will support all of our communication and engagement with our shareholders and other investors, as well as be responsible for collaborating on a variety of investor relations initiatives, including being a point of contact for the investment community. What you will do: Help prepare IR materials, including reports, presentations, news releases, and company materials for investor meetings and events.

Support the quarterly earnings process (development of messaging, scripts, and Q&A prep). Conduct analysis on competitive industry information, including competitor conference calls, related analyst reports and SEC filings. Assess analyst models and reporting for errors, and review analyst consensus to ensure accurate reflection of analysts' research/models. Maintain investor and meeting databases and related reporting.

Support the development of an annual schedule of conferences, non-deal road shows and other investor-oriented events. Read equity research reports, event transcripts, and follow industry developments to inform senior leaders of relevant market and industry news. Collaborate with internal & external teams, such as finance, legal, business development, and commercial, to ensure consistent and coherent messaging.

Work with the Investor Relations and Finance team to identify areas that are misunderstood by analysts and recommend improvements or changes in company disclosures. Serve as an outstanding personal and professional example of Agios' culture and values. What you bring:

An inclusive individual who thrives in a team-oriented collaborative environment Minimum 5 years' experience in investor relations (agency and/or public company). Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, communications or related field. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with others diplomatically and tactfully. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to draft engaging and impactful messages and articulate a clear and compelling narrative.

Ability to understand financial concepts and translate them into clear and concise messages for different audiences. Knowledge of capital markets, corporate finance, valuation methods, and financial reporting standards. Success in conceiving investor events, arranging logistics and ensuring execution.

Resourceful and creative; contributing new ideas and ensuring that events, meetings and documents convey desired messaging. Experience with investor relations software and tools, such as Nasdaq IR Insight, FactSet, etc. Mastery of the Microsoft 360 Suite.

Work Location: Location Specific - Hybrid: This role requires regular work onsite at our Cambridge Headquarters.

Hybrid schedules vary but are generally less than 3 days per week onsite. Regular conversations with manager are encouraged to ensure alignment on in-person presence/expectations. Employees in this role are expected to live within a commutable distance to the office and some travel may be required commensurate to the above job description and/or to attend team meetings and other company events.
