This position is responsible for all aspects of the audit ensuring audit requirements are met, developing the audit report, etc., and is the primary liaison with KPMG. In addition this position is responsible for resolution and follow-up for internal audit as well as tax compliance support to complete required federal, state, sales and use and property returns.
Lead audit process for Bendix and Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake.
Support N.A. tax compliance for Bendix and Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake.
Lead insurance renewal process and resolve insurance issues.
Lead the preparation of quarterly US GAAP financial statements for Bendix and Bendix Spicer Foundation Brakes.
Responsible for leading/participating in special projects.
Strong time management skills including ability to prioritize tasks.
Good project management and leadership skills.
Ability to identify problems, identify options to resolve, and ability to propose solutions.
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft office products suite.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Possesses the skills to facilitate continuous process improvement.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business and /or Finance required. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Extensive knowledge in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Knowledge of IFRS preferred
Understanding audit processes and requirements.
