The Manager, Institutional Strategy leverages research, business intelligence, customer and industry insights to develop strategic plans to support student acquisition and retention initiatives. The individual works closely with colleagues on business case development that contribute strategic business plans solutions. The individual collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver multifaceted plans and solutions for the business and supports the strategy team with actionable data and insights to feed ideation and strategy.
Translate customer insights, business intelligence, market and cultural trends into actionable strategies and plans that support the creation of customer-centric marketing strategies to support acquisition, retention and loyalty initiatives
Partner with channels and business owners on content strategy aligned with customer passion points, insights, site performance and other insights
Leverage messaging frameworks, brand positioning and strategies to activate brand and institutional messages across media, advertising, social and internal channels and content planning and development.
Support development of annual, quarterly and campaign go-to-market plan; work cross-functionally with creative, integrated marketing, acquisition, retention and loyalty channels to develop tactical plans
Provide input on information needs, research design and instruments, analysis and implications on research initiatives
Act as a voice of the customer and ensures that ideas, plans and strategy enhance the customer experience and delivers on their needs
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Science or related field
Three (3) years of experience in marketing planning, strategy, product marketing or ad agency planning.
Prior Ad Agency Account Planning, Media Planning or Account Management Experience a PLUS
Experience in leading, designing strategy and marketing planning within a marketing organization or in consulting services
Keen ability to dig into data and translate into actionable insights
Ability to be creative and think around problems
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of software
Adept at completing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Able to foster strong collaborative relationships working in a highly matrixed environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communications, storytelling and influencing skills
