Manages an Inside Sales team servicing businesses by phone. Monitors performance of staff, trains direct reports, and encourages an environment of teamwork and interdependence. Serves as liaison to Outside Sales ensuring that the rules of engagement are maintained, maximizing customer service and satisfaction. Maintains statistical records for forecasting, analysis, and periodic reporting.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages an Inside Sales team servicing the businesses by phone, email, fax and mail.

  • Monitors performance of staff, ensuring quality of calls handled and the lowest possible data entry error factor.

  • Develop a team who can drive sales growth.

  • You will be responsible for training, and developing your sales team to grow the business

  • Implements sales and advertising programs in collaberation with Marketing.

  • Maintains statistical records for forecasting, analysis, and periodic reporting.

  • Responsible for writing and delivering all action plans in an appropriate time frame

  • Responsible for the same criteria for their team as each of the reps are for their assignment ( i.e. volume, margin dollars, call count, errors)

  • Able to provide forecast of sales and margin

  • Have a full understanding of all systems

  • Responsible for interviewing/ hiring

  • Administers and recommends recognition and incentive programs for ISG sales associates.

Required Skills

  • Proven sales, leadership and team training skills.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing sales plans through self and others

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to evaluate statistical performance information.

  • PC skills basic microsoft package knowledge.

  • Understanding of Printing industry a plus

  • Good Organizational Skills

Required Experience

  • One or more years supervisory experience; one or more years call center experience a plus.

  • Or Multiple Sales experience in Printing industry

So, what does RRD do? Basically, RRD helps our clients communicate the message to their clients through various printed and digital media. And you could be the first step in this process. Why would I want this role? Do you like the sales process? This is a selling role. Do you want to get into sales and not sure where to start? This is an entry level sales role and we will train you. What will I do every day? In this role, you are responsible for promoting RRD and often may be the first time they learn about what we do. You also are responsible for keeping a strong relationship with those clients who already know what we do, but depend on you to help them problem solve their communication needs. All of this is done from the comfort of your office, so you must enjoy speaking on the phone or conversing via email. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: * This role is a sales "hunting" role.
