The IT Service Management (ITSM)/Portfolio Manager responsibility will span the Chief Information Office technical tasks to ensure continued operation and maintenance of systems with managed risk supporting Strategic Deterrent Systems Division requirements. This includes responsibility for review and oversight within the following ITSM processes: change management, problem management, request fulfillment, capacity management, requirements management, Service Level Management, and Continual Improvement. Provide regular collaboration and guidance to large cross functional matrix teams; acting as a liaison between development and implementation of design changes to resolve operational issues and other activities necessary to ensure cost-effective support to achieve performance requirements over a system's life cycle. This role will interface with management across the program including partner organizations such as Classified Solutions, Mission Assurance, Digital Ecosystem, and SDS Operations.

Duties of this role include:

• Drives input and feedback to key leadership positions about process improvement opportunities.

• Lead efforts to develop and deliver training. Evaluates the performance or ability of employees to understand and apply lean principles. organization informed.

• Successfully transforming the IT organization by delivering best practices supporting Service Management and overall Operations Service Delivery

• Promote and champion the benefits of Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management, CMDB and other IT Service Management processes.

• Review and approve changes to the environment to ensure due diligence occurs prior to implementation of changes.

• Facilitate improvements through collaboration across the program resulting in improved stability and predictability of services.

• Lead development of root cause analysis with emphasis on corrective action planning activities requiring service design changes (technology or process)

• Review IT infrastructure processes within the program to ensure meet or exceed industry standards.

• Participates in the identification, development and communication of new technology standards and best practices, as appropriate.

• Oversight on Site Operating initiatives

• Align IT Solutions strategy and operations initiatives across the program Identify opportunities to improve systems integration by reducing redundancy and cost, while at the same time increasing productivity and cost competitiveness

• Responsible for measuring and quantifying performance and compliance

• Develop performance measures and consistently report metrics

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and 8 years of related experience

• Minimum of 3 years in a formal lead/management position

• Candidates must have an Active DOD Secret security clearance in order to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Northrop Grumman Sector-specific experience.

• Broad background in ITSM processes, Portfolio and Project Management, IT Infrastructure, business applications, and operations

• Active DOD Top Secret clearance

• PMP certified.

• DOD 8570 certification

• ITILv4 Foundations certification

• ITL Managing Professional certification.

Salary Range: $141,900.00 - $212,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
