Manager - Information Systems Security

JOB SUMMARY

• Assists with hiring, time management, budgeting, and productivity, provides direction, and evaluates employees. Assigns tasks to staff and project management oversight of coordinated efforts. Responsible for developing procedures in support of wide and local area networks and services throughout the hospital and its affiliates. Provides second-level support to Account Management Analysts, Cybersecurity, Network Technician teams, and other teams. Responsible for monitoring, updating, and implementing all tools related to security and cybersecurity. Responsible for the management of account provisioning for all applications managed by Information Systems. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision, and values of Phoebe. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.

• Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs).

• Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.

• Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• General environment: Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area, with moderate noise levels.

• May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights.

• May be required to change from one task to another of different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.

• Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.

• May be scheduled as needed including overtime.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• 4-year / Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field, or in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree; an Associate's Degree and 10 years of professional experience. (Required)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 8 years of experience in a technical support position with specific experience with micro-computers, peripherals, and data communications. (Required)
• 2 years of experience with LAN and WAN networks (Required)
• 2 years of experience in Network operating systems especially Microsoft Active Directory, as well as in operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and DOS (Required)
• 2 years of experience with Security and anti-virus techniques (Required)
• 2 years of experience with Enterprise class wireless network infrastructure (Required)

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES

• Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Computer Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Associate of (ISC), CompTIA Security , and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
