The Manager of Infection Prevention at Kennestone Regional Medical Center organizes and manages integrated key activities related to Infection Prevention for the organization. Aligns department goals and tactics with hospital and system strategic goals under the direction of the Quality & Patient Safety Director.
The Manager of Infection Prevention, manages day to day operations for the infection prevention and control program. Mentors team members for personal growth. Responsibilities include compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and State regulation, outbreak investigation, and education of physicians and team members of CDC and State Health Department guidelines and regulations.
Required Minimum Education: Registered Nurse with a minimum of a BSN. Masters preferred.
Required Minimum Experience: Two years experience in a healthcare leadership role.
Three to five years experience in leadership, interpersonal, time management, change management. Must possess a solid understanding of team dynamics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building.
