Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Industrial Security 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Security organization. This leadership role is located in Clearfield, UT.

The Manager Industrial Security 2 will be responsible for developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment., which will include the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development for a team of security professionals, ensuring the team fosters a cohesive, collaborative environment where diversity and innovation is encouraged.

  • Promotes identification and fulfillment of individual team member roles and responsibilities.

  • Interfacing with all levels of government, corporate, and business area leadership on security matters involving employees, programs, facilities, and operations in a manner which balances compliance with customer service.

  • Ensures adherence to policies, practices, and procedures of the 32 CFR Part 117: National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM), the DoD SAP Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, as well as other applicable government or customer contractual regulatory guidance and directives.

  • Collaborates across various levels of Security organization towards achieving highest levels of operational efficiency in application of consistent achievement of milestones.

  • Builds and maintains a strong security program compliant with the 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoD SAP manuals, ICD 705, and all other applicable security requirements.

  • Proactively supports security requirements for proposal activities including development of Basis of Estimate (BOE) for security labor support for classified programs.

  • Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.

  • Develops, implements, and maintains a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program.

  • Successfully plans and performs all elements of security inspections, including self-inspections, CSA inspections, and internal inspections, as required.

  • Leads and performs the security tasks associated with the construction or modification and approval of classified areas in accordance with ICD705.

  • Develops, implements and maintains all elements of required security documentation to include OPSEC plans, CONOPS, SOPs, desktop instructions, and more.

  • Leads and performs all matters of contract security classification actions including reviewing and interpreting Form DD-254, creating Form DD-254 for subcontractors, and more.

This position will be an onsite position, working a 9/80 (1st shift) work schedule. Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree AND 6 years of related professional/military experience in Security related experience OR a Master's Degree AND 4 years of related professional/military experience in Security related roles.

  • Must have 2 years of prior management/leadership experience.

  • Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required) with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) prior to starting.

  • Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, an SCI access level as a condition of continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active TOP SECRET//SCI

  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the 32 CFR Part 117: National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM), the DoD SAP Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, and other related security requirements.

  • The ideal candidate will have Security Management experience in Industrial Security across the Security spectrum of company and government programs.

  • Possess a breadth of demonstrated business, financial and management skills, knowledge and abilities.

  • Experience with Special Access Programs serving as CPSO.

  • Experience managing security operations on DoD classified or Special Access Programs

  • Master's Degree in Security, Business, or a related field.

  • Relevant professional certifications such as ISP, CISSP, Security+, CPP etc.

  • Experience with Company Security policy & procedure implementation and management.

  • Experience with DoD Security program implementation and management.

  • Experience serving as a Facility Security Officer and having completed the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Curriculum.

  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight.

  • Experience with security management of SCI programs

  • Experience with COMSEC management

  • Expertise with ICD 705 construction and accreditation processes

  • Experience with various systems of record including SIMS, CV2, CORE, JADE

  • Demonstrated success in leading organization change and transformation.

  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

  • Excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organized skills enabling effective communications.

Salary Range: $108,400.00 - $162,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
