Responsibilities

Our exciting Manager-In-Training (MIT) program gives you the opportunity to learn and grow at an established company with over 40 years of experience. As our newest associate, you'll experience a custom interactive program that will guide you through hands-on and computer-based training, lasting approximately 8 weeks. The program focuses on different aspects of managing your own account, including:

  • HCSG's Purpose, Vision, and Values

  • Business Operations

  • Human Resources Management

  • Financial / Budgetary Management

  • Client Relations

Our promotions from within philosophy opens the door to stimulating opportunities within our company upon successful and demonstrated proficiency in the Account Manager in Training program.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

  • Ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting

  • General knowledge and understanding of management techniques, and computer software

  • Good verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.

  • Must live in service area.

Position Info As Vice President, Environmental Services you will ensure a clean, safe and inviting environment for residents, family members, guests and associates at each of our senior living communities. This position oversees maintenance and housekeeping services and ensures a culture of service that exceeds expectations. Ensuring interactions with residents are always pleasant and environmental service interruptions are as brief as possible. Manage departmental budget, operational and safety standards and regulatory compliance. Essential Job Functions: * Manage and continuously improve community assets, operating within a departmental budget, planning for and managing capital expenditure projects, and maximizing revenue. * Proactively manage the physical condition of the community and related systems. * Oversee landscape and grounds keeping maintenance, ensuring safety and quality work. * Manage vendor and contractor relationships and ensure work performed and/or product delivered is cost-effective and meets contract terms and service standards. * Ensure implementation of Safety & Disaster Preparedness Plan, Policies & Procedures and regulatory compliance (e.g. licensing, OSHA, etc.). * Procure new equipment, supplies, and/or furnishings under the direction of the Executive Director and Home Office standards. * Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies. * Conduct departmental planning and forecasting, and fluidly manage operations based on occupancy and economic conditions. * Maintain required records, reports, and equipment/supply manuals. * Participate in all property inspections, working with the authorities throughout the process.
