What you get to do:

  • Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures are followed for all areas related to warehousing.

  • Control and manage assets received, stored, and delivered through the culinary and merchandise warehouse.

  • Oversight of weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventory process of both Culinary and Merchandise warehouses.

  • Always maintain a safe work environment and ensure safe operation of all equipment and vehicles.

  • Manage all daily aspects of the In-Park Revenue (IPR) warehouse operations to include product delivery HACCP, safety, driving, fleet maintenance, general training and documentation programs to ensure that all department, park, company guidelines are met.

  • Ensure all corporate compliance requirements are met.

  • Assist with preparation of annual warehouse budget.

  • Assist the culinary leadership team with procurement of culinary products, rotation of products (FIFO) and communicating deadstock items.

  • Responsible for the oversight and development of warehouse ambassadors and leadership team by supplying training, feedback, coaching and scheduling.

  • Maintain compliance with all Food Safety and Merchandise guidelines, hygiene and cleanliness standards

  • Oversee budget to include controls in product cost, operating expenses, and labor expenses to maximize profitability.

  • As appropriate, recommend improvements to processes, production, or labor requirements.

  • Responsible for the coordination of scheduling of warehouse leadership and ambassadors.

  • Participate in park leadership duty rotation which encompasses any needed operating or administrative functions.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Competencies

Education/ Experience:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Must have at least 3 years' experience operating in a fast paced culinary, merchandise or similar warehouse environment and 5 years of Leadership experience.

  • Demonstrates success in leading people in a fast-paced, complex environment.

  • Must be familiar with domestic and import shipping logistics to include inbound and outbound shipments.

  • Must be proficient in receiving and allocating product in both a culinary and merchandise warehouse environment.

  • Must have experience operating forklifts, box trucks, pick-up trucks, etc.

Certifications:

  • Must complete DOT enrollment and acceptance.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and able to meet Company driving standards.

  • Must have or be able to obtain National Restaurant Association Education Foundation Serve Safe Food Safety Manager's Certification.

  • Must be comfortable and able to work with all food types, including food allergens

Leadership Commitment:

  • Must be flexible in work locations based on business needs and career development opportunities.

  • Must be available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be able to be nimble to the business demands while running an efficient warehouse operation.

  • Must be able to understand/interpret and train others on financial reports, to include Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, sales and budget reports.

  • Must be able to maintain a positive work environment, culture, and collaborative atmosphere.

Communication:

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with ambassadors, guests and leadership.

Physical Demands:

  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout work shift

  • Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis; stand, walk, climb, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks.

  • Must be comfortable operating forklifts, box trucks, pick-up trucks, etc.

  • Must be comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor.

  • Must be able to move freely around work areas.

  • Must be able to push/pull/manipulate a rolling pallet jack with weights up to 1200 pounds

  • Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; 90 pounds with assistance.

  • Must be comfortable working at heights.

  • Must be able to work indoors with or without A/C and outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP applications, SAMMS, Merchandise inventory management systems, and scheduling programs.

  • Possession or pursuit of a bachelor's degree preferred.
