Manager, Implementation

The Manager, Implementation is responsible for day to day current quarter planning, forecasting and business processes. A successful background in hospital IT implementations, preferable clinical systems/software in the acute care market.

Responsibilities:

  • Territory revenue management, focused on "in quarter" forecast accuracy, efficiency and revenue development

  • Under direction of the territory operations manager, assist in the leadership, mentoring and coaching employees. Providing them with the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA) needed to be successful

  • Participates in : manufacturing demand forecasting, implementation best practices, process/workflow consulting and employee education

  • Forging and maintaining strong relationships with division counterparts (Sales & service) and inter-departmentally. (Manufacturing, technical support, sales operations)

  • Collaboration with field operations managers to ensure process standardization relating to project team responsibilities

  • Participant in sales pre contract activities as required, ex. Milestone plans

  • Assist in developing and executing effective practices, tools and standards for implementations

  • Establishes strong relationships at all levels within clients and prospective customers

  • Involved as an escalation point in revenue risk mitigation

  • Manage time and resources effectively to meet company objectives

  • ADP/Timesheet approvals and overtime tracking

  • Expense reporting and approvals

  • Recruits, hires and develops a high performance region

  • Maintain strong industry and product knowledge

  • Participate in company strategic initiatives and special projects, as needed

Required Knowledge and

Skills:
  • Wide product based knowledge, strong base in supply chain, interfacing and databases

  • Ability to facilitate in-person and via webinar with a high level of learning effectiveness and satisfaction by participants

  • Strong negotiation/problem solving skills

  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, independent and able to adjust to changing priorities

  • Ability to work collaboratively and enjoy working in a fast-paced technical environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of experience with project management in healthcare
  • 3 years of directly or indirectly managing people in healthcare software implementations

Work Conditions:

  • Field Based position

  • 50% Travel Required

  • Irregular work hours may be required to meet the needs of the customer

  • May be required to stand or sit for long periods of time

  • Must be able to pass federal background check and drug screen and have a clean driving record

After the sale of a system is complete, the Implementation Manager works in conjunction with the Project Deployment Manager is the primary customer contact onsite during implementations. Responsibilities: * Manage all project administrative activities of multiple simultaneous projects * Manage and report to various project budgets and timelines * Develop, and mentor Implementation Consultants and project team members * Provides input to IT strategic and tactical planning and high level staffing plans * Plan all aspects of complex software implementation projects and other assignments. * Manage project scope, forecast, resources, and deliverables within specified deadlines while continuously assessing the client's ability to change relative to the agreed scope * Work directly with the client project management team throughout all project phases * Conduct customer webinars related to Omnicell products * Proactively identify significant project risks, develop mitigation strategies, escalate to leadership, and implement approved mitigation steps * Provide internal and external project status reporting, ensuring all stakeholders receive the required level of detail. * Actively lead status meetings with the client and project team. Complete weekly reports for customer projects and internal updates * Review documentation and verify customer assets to provide reliable BI (Business Intelligence) to Sales, Operations and Service Required Knowledge and Skills: * Possess a wide product based knowledge, strong base in interfacing and databases * Ability to facilitate in-person and via webinar with a high level of learning effectiveness and satisfaction by participants * Strong negotiation/problem solving skills * Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication skills * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously * Detail-oriented, independent and able to adjust to changing priorities * Able to quickly learn new software and functionality of new products * Ability to work collaboratively and enjoy working in a fast-paced technical environment * Proven track record of success in managing multiple projects/multiple presentation deadlines at one time * Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently * Excellent skills with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Note: The selected individual must have a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record, be able to meet company's insurance coverage requirements and have their own vehicle in acceptable working condition. Basic Qualifications: * Associates degree at least 2 years of demonstrated project management work experience Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor degree * 4+ years of demonstrate project management work experience in healthcare * Pharmacy or clinical operations work experience * Experience effectively presenting technical information to leadership Working Conditions * Working across multiple time zones * 75% travel * Physical demands of the role include bending, sitting, lifting, standing and driving Omnicell Raleigh NC
