APH Echocardiology Status: Full Time Shift: First, Monday-Friday Three (3) years of experience in Nuclear Medicine or an Imaging Services Department to include one (1) year ofsupervisory experience in a clinical setting.

Supports, plans, develops, organizes, and leads

Imaging Services departments, ensuring continual, timely, and accurate servicesfor patients and care teams. Essential Functions • Manages the development and implementation of systems, policies, and procedures for effective delivery of imaging services in conjunction with other members of the hospital operations team. • Coordinates scheduling and supervision of team members as appropriate to achieve operational goals. • Meetsregularly with the imaging leadership teamto plan, revise, or implement new services, and/or policies and procedures. • Meets regularly with team members to share information, provide guidance, and review and resolve issues. • Participatesin Process Improvement and Quality Management programs, ensuring compliance in assigned areas of responsibility. • Ensures compliance with Safety and Infection Control practices and meets legal requirements within areas designated. • Interviews prospective team members with other members of team and participatesin their selection. • Demonstrates leadership skillsin both verbal and nonverbal communication behaviors. • Manages various human resources functions including hiring, work assignments, development plans, coaching plans, and performance counseling. • Plans and assistsin the development of new programs, diagnostic services, team building and higher performance levels(Orlando Health Way). • Takes responsibility for professional development of oneself and all staff members. • Develops and maintains appropriate documentation of budgetary, procedural, performance, and regulatory standards. • Effectively and accurately utilizes corporate imaging computer systems. • Maintains open communication with hospital, referring, and department physicians to ensure proper imaging operations. • Communicates and interacts closely with the Imaging Leaders, Physicians, and Radiologists to ensure optimal patient/staff flow and resolves patient care issues. • Adheres to Imaging and Corporate policies, procedures, the mission statement, and Commitment to Excellence standards. • Works with site leadership to set standards that meet all regulatory bodies to include Joint Commission, Florida Department of Health, American College of Radiology and Nuclear Regulatory Commission. • Maintainsreasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures, department guidelines, and education requirements.

Qualifications Education/Training Bachelor's Degree required Licensure/Certification • Must maintain a valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida or Florida State License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist - renewed biannually. • Must maintain a valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT) certification or Certified (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB); or • Must maintain a valid certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). • BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
