ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:
Manages all technical, clerical, regulatory and administrative operations of a diagnostic imaging department to ensure quality and safety goals are achieved. Manages the application of diagnostic imaging technology and regulatory standards. Adopts, develops and applies policies, protocols and procedures to measure and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services provided by different departments and improves customer satisfaction. Manages personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training and effective communication. Manages the safety of diagnostic imaging service activities and creates a safe environment for patients, staff and the public. Principal Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Manages the application of diagnostic imaging technology and regulatory standards.

  • Adopts, develops and applies policies, protocols and procedures to measure and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services provided by different departments and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Manages personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training, and effective communication.

  • Manages the safety of diagnostic imaging service activities and creates a safe environment for patients, staff and the public.

QualificationsEducation and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional imaging-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of diagnostic imaging experience and two (2) years of recent experience managing/supervising in a related imaging field.

Licensure:

  • Certified technologist with current applicable state licensure. If the state in which you are applying offers no applicable state licensure, then corresponding registration in a national modality (ARRT or NMTCB or ARDMS) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

Special Skills:

Complex, abstract problem solving capabilities to maintain system-wide functions.

Preferred:

Experience oversing EKG, EEG and ECHO departments in acute care setting.

You are responsible for: * Creating solutions meeting customer requirements involving the entire Philips team * Building and maintaining effective relationships with the customer at all levels in the buying organization and the Philips team. * Once an order is closed, continuing communication with the customer to insure high customer satisfaction while addressing any concerns. * Understanding customer requirements and providing solutions in a consultative way while meeting their needs. * Developing and owning strategies for customers within assigned territory that will achieve business growth targets. * Ensuring order processing, architectural service, construction, and shipment schedules to equipment installation are orderly and timely by communicating with logistics and project managers. * Negotiating solutions and closing deals by reaching agreements with mutual satisfaction to Customers and Philips. * Maintaining constant communication with all internal and external parties during the progression of the deal. Prepares for several negotiation scenarios. Obtaining clean orders at the best possible price. You are a part of: * The Account Manager will be part of a Regional team to include a team of sales reps and reports to the Region Sales Manager. * Works with Region Sales manager to develop overall territory sales plan accurately forecasting possible deals for the year and insure order volume and revenue targets are met. * Interfaces with Clinical Specialist, and Service counterparts to help ensure high customer satisfaction including appropriate involvement with equipment turnover. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: * BS/BA degree in disciplines related to sales, marketing, business or clinical. * A minimum of 3 years of hospital sales experience (required). * Medical Capital equipment sales experience (highly preferred). * Radiology, Ultrasound and/or Diagnostic Imaging sales experience is a plus+. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred. * Ability to effectively manage assigned territory. * Overnight travel could exceed 40%.
