MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an

organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education

Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education

(USDE). Major course work in Criminal Justice, Busniess Administration,

Public Administration, Behavioral Science, or a related field preffered.

Each year of experience as described below in excess of the required

eight years may be substituted for thirty semester hours from an

accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis.

2.Eight years full-time, wage-earning program administration, reentry

program, criminal justice administration, social services, or human

services experience to include three years in the supervision of

employees. Fifteen semester hours of graduate course work from an

accredited colege or university in a related field may be substituted

for each year of experience on a year-for-year basis for a maximum

substitution of two years.

3.Governmental program experience preferred.

4.Experience in reentry programs preferred.

The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) may be

reduced by 2.5%.
