Conduent Business Servicesis seeking a Network Manager II who'll be responsible for managing networkservices and resources in support of client program. These services couldinclude telecommunications, data network, e-mail, file and print, directory,security; and PC and server operating systems and hardware. Responsible for localnetwork operational activities in relation to supporting a call center businessoperation group including software development and delivery.

Will also be responsiblefor ensuring local network, telecom, servers and desktop services areoperational on a daily basis. Interprets internal or external network issuesand recommends solutions/best practices. Primarily domestic accountability; mayinclude some international accountability. Works well in a highly dynamicenvironment and can manage multiple activities and priorities. "Client First"focus for both end client and internal client (Operations). This position includespeople management.

This position is locatedin Staten Island, New York and reports directly to the Director, ServiceDelivery and Operations (ITS), Client Applications

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Drives and manages the planning, development, and installation of network& telecom systems by evaluating current and future business requirements

  • Ensures all software and hardware products are compatible withnetwork integration

  • Drives and manages the installation, maintenance, and monitoringof the organization's local area network system

  • Directs and controls the activities of design, analysis, planning,and implementation of network components

  • Oversees the development and evaluation of network performancecriteria and measurement methods

  • Manages the testing and analysis of all components of networkfacilities to ensure operational status

  • Identifies network problems and oversees resolution of problems

  • Drives the planning, design, implementation, organization, andoperation of the data communications network

  • Manages voice, data, and video communication systems throughoutthe organization, including the planning, design, installation, and maintenanceof networks in support of information systems

  • Drives and manages the research, design, planning, and developmentof new advanced network technologies, network components, and radio frequencyand/or wireless transmission

  • Drives and manages processes required to support the desktopservices of the call centers. This includes maintaining current images used fordeployment of computers.

  • Drives and manages processes required to support the PCIcompliance activities for network, servers and desktop computers.

  • Manages team members responsible for support of the program callcenters network, telecom, servers and desktop services.

  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (equivalent hands-on experience may beconsidered)

  • Minimum of eight (8 ) years of relevant experience in abovedescribed responsibilities

  • Experience in managing a customer focused operation

  • Proven people management skills - able to motivate and supervise ateam

  • Written and verbal communications skills at all organizationallevels (internal and external); comfort level with client communications

  • Results oriented with strong attention to detail and a relentlesscommitment to process improvement and quality

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team orientedenvironment

  • The ability to analyze issues and drive to find resolution toproblems by using a rational, systematic approach

  • Must consent to, and successfully clear all requiredpre-employment screenings

Logs specimens into the information system. Responsibilities Include: * Handles telephone information requests promptly with courtesy, accuracy and respect for confidentiality. * Ensures appropriate ordering and turnaround of test results by monitoring transportation, receipt and ordering information on each specimen. * Coordinates pick-up and delivery of supplies and reports to/from client offices. Serves as a central dispatch for the Laboratory Motor Vehicle Operators. * Submits accurate information needed for billing by reviewing client requisitions. Contracts client offices for proper insurance coding, UPIN, diagnosis codes, NPI, and all other pertinent billing information. * Troubleshoots patient and client billing insures. Makes corrections and notifies hospital billing. * Evaluates integrity of all types of laboratory problem specimens (QNS, incorrect specimen sent, etc.). Investigates alternate courses of action to be taken to ensure positive resolution and client satisfaction. * Collaborates with area supervisors, when necessary. * Reviews all outpatients list (DSR, Site Batches, BBK list) on a daily basis and takes appropriate action to ensure quality of specimen collection and reporting of results. * Receives interface orders in the Laboratory Information Systems. * Verifies collection lists. * Logs in test orders and registers patients, when necessary. * Maintains proper lever of supplies at all times. * Performs related duties, as required. Qualifications * Associates Degree in Medical Technology OR Associates Degree with three (3) years laboratory experience, required. * Prior experience in bench technology as a generalist, preferred.
