Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in planning and scheduling management? We are seeking program management, planning & scheduling professionals to join the Program Planning & Scheduling Department. This position will be a working lead planner in support of Advanced Technology and IRAD programs. This role will provide leadership and management oversight to planning and scheduling professionals in support of multiple programs. Responsibilities will include leading a team of planners supporting development, maintenance and analysis of schedules including non-recurring engineering, supply chain, production representative effort, and IOT and subcontractor efforts; leading planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks; and partnering with finance managers on EVMS implementation. This position will be located in Tewksbury, MA.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in Planning, Program Management and/or Program Planning & Scheduling

  • MS Project Server experience

  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process

Desired Skills:

  • 8+ years of professions experience in Program Planning & Scheduling

  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in assisting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)

  • Prior supervisory experience

  • Six Sigma (R6S) Specialist or similar certification

Required Education (including Major):

  • BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field of study

The PICC / Project Engineer drives organizational process and requirements to achieve cost, schedule and technical performance requirements. WLED is a systems engineering organization whose main objective is to influence hardware, software, and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability and economical ownership by the customer and end users. Responsibilities include: * Preparing, revising, updating and monitoring required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements * Integrating key business activities into a seamless project management plan leveraging best practices, people skills and cross utilization of assets. * Assisting program leadership with emerging tasks critical to achieving program business objectives. * Leading proposal development activities and coordinating efforts with all impacted functions from RFP receipt through proposal review and delivery. * Identifying and implementing key program metrics and leading development of situational awareness reporting and management tools to help program leadership teams to drive program success. * Coordinating program start-up processes by assisting in the creation of initial program artifacts (team structure, lesson learned, Contractual Work Breakdown Structure). * Preparing and managing all required product lifecycle artifacts and reviews. * Capturing and tracking program actions and working with action owners to ensure timely closure.
