About the role:

Responsible for the development and supervision of Rhythmia Mapping team members within assigned geography. Actively participates in the Rhythmia Mapping Specialist hiring process. Coordinates regional mapping coverage needs while promoting company products through clinical education and support of current and potential customers and patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for launching new system placements which include but are not limited to hardware, catheters and software.

  • Assess and identify training needs and gaps and provide coaching and development for direct reports. Conducts final assessment for certification of new mapping specialists.

  • Resolves schedule conflicts that require resources outside the region/area. Provides clinical support and education to local Rhythmia Mappers as needed by supporting mapping procedures, basic troubleshooting, and clinical trials.

  • Lauching new technoligies and incresing efficenties of current customer by monitoring and improveing mapping utlization and outcomes.

  • Collaborates with EP Business Development Manager to ensure clinical team goals, objectives and support are aligned with the regional sales strategy.

  • Communicates regularly with direct reports, EP Business Development Manager, EP Sales Reps, Rhythm Regional Managers, peers, and Area Sales Director regarding clinical activities and changes in the marketplace. Fosters collaboration and best practice sharing at a national level.

  • Oversees travel expenses for Rhythmia Mapping team members including the timely review and approval of expense reports.

  • Responsible for carrying out company policies with sincerity and integrity. Ensures mapping team compliance with company policies, procedures, and administrative responsibilities.

  • Responds to customer needs related to products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., EP Business Development Managers, EP Sales Reps, Clinical Research, Marketing, Technical Support, etc.) to develop optimal solutions.

  • Provides ongoing training and development of Rhythmia Mapping team members, and facilitates and manages company sponsored training and events.

  • Performs progressive reviews during regular field visits and formally during corporate mid-year and annual performance review process.

  • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.

  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

  • May lead a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.

  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.

  • May direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs and/or operations.

The Clinical Operations Manager is directly responsible for the clinical teams and services within a designated area and works closely with the providers and other medical center leaders to assure implementation of clinical, ancillary, and business services in the medical center in a way that meets or exceeds standards while providing an excellent patient experience across all services. Essential Responsibilities: Operational Excellence: Manages the daily operations of assigned clinical practice teams and services within a medical center to assure optimal delivery of safe, appropriate, accessible care and service. Support/facilitate coordination of workflow across medical, nursing, technical, ancillary and office staff. Collaborate and ensure effective communication with other leaders in the medical center to align operations and implement/monitor interdisciplinary change initiatives, workflow, quality and process improvements. Assures adequate staffing levels are in place to meet patient needs. Ensures assigned clinic teams are effectively assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care/service. Resolves service/care issues, UOs, including patient complaints, as they occur within assigned area. Financial Stewardship: Manages within resources allocated. In collaboration with other medical center management colleagues, makes operational adjustments as needed to meet financial targets. Identifies care-related capital needs and oversees background research for requests. Actively involved with project management, space planning, maintenance of the facility, procurement of supplies, and contract services within assigned area. Continuous Improvement: Implements complex change and improvements associated with access management, clinical quality, safety standards and service excellence.Patient Experience: Assures the delivery of patient care that meets or exceeds clinical quality and safety standards. Trains and supports staff in delivering a consistent customer experience. Resolves patient complaints and unusual occurrences (UOs). Staff Engagement & Development: Manages staff, including selection, training and development, performance management, recognition, discipline and termination. Supports all team members, including medical staff, in achieving performance expectations and standards. Supports a culture of excellent service and communication that positively influences staff engagement. Assures a safe, productive, and supportive work environment for all staff. Compliance and Emergency Preparedness: Ensures ongoing compliance and adherence to GH policy/procedure, as well as, other compliance, regulatory, accreditation, and institutional requirements. Administers clinical policy and procedures, program within GH by assuring consistent practice and providing local oversight as needed. Oversees frontline staff to maintain clinical standards and practice in accordance with all local, state and federal requirements. Basic Qualifications: Experience Minimum two (2) years of outpatient operations experience as a nurse. Minimum one (1) year of management or supervisory experience in a clinical environment, including demonstrated success in managing financial resources, identifying and meeting customer requirements, and working effectively with medical staff. Education Bachelor's degree in nursing. License, Certification, Registration Current Washington State Registered Nurse license to be obtained by date of hire/transfer.
