  • Preparation and distribution of bi-weekly payroll.

  • Maintenance of personnel records and status changes.

  • Creating/maintaining all reports required for payroll.

  • Tracking of vacation, sick time, holidays taken.

  • Administer benefits for employees medical, dental, vision and 401K.

  • Distribute all information from corporate to employees as needed, posting information as required by corporate and by law.

  • Benefit orientation for new hires/newly eligible employees.

  • Facilitate enrollment for AFLAC, 401K, and other benefits.

  • Track FMLA and disability leaves.

  • Short term/Long term disability processing and follow through.

  • Report accidents.

  • Work with the Risk Department.

  • Work with Worker's Comp Administrator.

  • Follow up and monitor return to work status.

  • Coordinate benefits.

  • Safety committee organization, monitoring, and monthly reporting.

  • Respond to state inquiries and claims.

  • Prepare for hearings and co-ordinate with managers involved.

  • Work with managers to avoid unnecessary claims.

  • Labor Law Awareness.

  • Talent Management, Recruitment, hiring, posting jobs, screen applicants, pre-employment testing, maintain all records for compliance.

  • Maintain list of proof of vehicles insurance for sales and merchandising employees, notify managers of those with expired proof of insurance.

  • Work with department managers to determine hiring needs, place ads as necessary, screen employment applications, log pending drug screen results for new hires, and maintain interviewing records.

  • Investigate and resolve hotline complaints.

  • Assisting supervisors/managers in identifying and resolving employee relations issues.

  • Interpreting company policies and procedures.

  • Working with management to meet staffing requirements of the Division.

  • Assist in termination process of employees.


  • A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.

  • 5-8+ year's human resource experience.

  • PHR/SPHR strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience working with all levels of employees.

  • Experience supporting hourly employee client groups.

  • Experience in a call center, distribution center, retail, or manufacturing environment.

  • Master's Degree or MBA in HRM preferred

  • Up to date and working knowledge of federal and state labor and payroll laws required.

The individual in this role is responsible for human resource activities for the Site. He/She administers Human Resource management programs encompassing all functional areas of human capital. The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, wage administration, coordination of employment and/or employee termination, various aspects of training, and site compliance with government regulations pertaining to personnel, and corporate policies. This role works with other UCT Human Resource representatives to ensure commonality of practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Acts as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations. * Guide site recruiting and employee relations processes. * Responsible for human resource activities to include employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, and training and development. * Interview job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications. * Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries. * Perform specific research/investigation into operational issues, as requested. * Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc. * Conducts new-hire orientations, counsels employees on benefit features * Trains new employees as required on self-service HR tools. * Assists with audit and reporting of site staffing programs. * Maintains employee hardcopy files. Inputs employee personal data into human resources information/computer system (HRIS) database. * Provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information. * Coordinates termination and reduction in force activities including paperwork, related distributions, and communications. * Reviews and updates exit paperwork for the team, closeout exiting employee's files, store exit interview data for reporting. May conduct employee exit interviews and tally general statistics including headcount tracking. * Maintain organizational charts with up-to-date information. * Works on special projects in support of the HR organization. * Other Recruiting and HR duties as assigned.
