Arhaus is looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and well-organized Human Resources Manager to join our team at our upholstery manufacturing site. This key role will function as an internal business partner to help build organizational capability to meet financial and strategic goals by effectively managing human resources. The Human Resource Manager will ensure that company HR programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and cultural values. This strategic opportunity will be responsible for fully engaging the associate and leadership team to truly understand our internal customers' needs. Key fundamental skill sets for this role will be:
Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
Develop and deliver training materials and performance management programs to help ensure our staff and associates understand their job responsibilities.
Investigate associate issues, conflicts, and other policy violations while delivering disciplinary and termination outcomes.
Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation coaching and guidance.
Training, counseling, and coaching our staff
Drive workforce analytics, insights, and reporting to support the development, execution, and ongoing refinement of the company's workforce plan
Investigate associate issues, conflicts, and other policy violations while delivering disciplinary and termination outcomes.
Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation coaching and guidance.
Conduct daily walks throughout the entire facility, interact with all levels of employees, gain insights into areas for improvement, and proactively share feedback to the leadership team
Create and maintain a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of the associate population.
Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Maintain HR systems and processes
Conduct performance and salary reviews
Provide support and guidance to HR staff
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in human resources management, labor relation, or equivalent is preferred. Relevant experience in a similar role will be considered in lieu of a Degree.
Excellent knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant agencies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with computer skills. (MS Word and Excel)
Experience in human resources or related field.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
Excellent organization and time management skills, flexibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Must be a team player, detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Project management experience with multiple stakeholders - prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations.
