Manager, HR Finance - Provide financial analysis and support related to several areas of the business, identifies cost control ideas, provides variance analysis, isolates process improvement opportunities, and leads business intelligence projects. Plays an important role in the financial analysis and business decision support of the organization. Responsible for the coordination and preparation of HR financial budgets, in conjunction with department heads, as well as performing periodic forecasts throughout the year.
What You'll Do:
Provides financial support to leadership including acting as a key liaison for budgets, forecasts, and operating expense.
Develop, analyze and report on budget, forecast, strategic plan data including evaluation of new programs, while ensuring consistency with corporate objectives.
Work with appropriate department managers to ensure an understanding of and adherence to the budget.
Create, manage, and promote key performance indicator dashboards. Partner with business stakeholders to identify pertinent data points, take measurements, uncover important relationships, create visual evidence, and make decision recommendations to executive leadership.
Perform a variety of additional analytical, administrative, professional and financial duties
Develop systems and models to conduct value-added financial analysis in a productive, efficient manner including statistical data and models for forecasting and tracking benefit program expenses.
Provide general financial planning support for the business as required by the Sr. Director of Finance.
Coordinate ACA eligibility and reporting with Benefits
Work collaboratively with internal resources to troubleshoot, research and escalate discrepancies and ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner
Provide business and financial expertise on HR projects
Works collaboratively with HR and Finance Partners to support projects as assigned
What You'll Need:
Finance, Accounting or Statistics undergraduate degree
Demonstrated excellence in financial problem solving, willingness to learn new programs, and strong teamwork and initiative skills
Technical, logical and quantitative skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, project- management and organizational skills, including the ability to understand broad-based departmental operation and expense/revenue issues and procedures
Ability to work with all levels of management
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
