ENTRY REQUIREMENTS # Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a Bachelor#s of Science in Nursing or graduation from an approved school of Physical or Occupational Therapy. Assures appropriate staff supervision during all operating hours.# Makes decisions regarding hiring, termination, performance evaluation and corrective action as per organizational policy/guidelines.#


Assures that operational and clinical decisions meet the requirements of accrediting/regulatory bodies.


Works with management of other home health programs to develop goals, implement a strategic plan, standardize operations, achieve quality goals, and assure operational efficiency.


Regularly attends continuing education sessions/ in-services and staff meetings.


Participates in the management on-call system.# # Employees with e-mail are required to maintain proficiency in the basic functions of the program and are also required to regularly check email and keep calendars up to date.


Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. # # # # ADDENDUM FOR BRANCH MANAGER # In addition to the Specific Duties listed above: # Manages the Home Care operation assuring quality care while operating within established budgets and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency in the assigned location.# # Participates in the development of the branch#s budget.# # # Directs the Clinical Supervisor(s) in assuring a safe work environment where field staff are competent to complete their job duties as required, are being held accountable for requirements of the job and are being evaluated appropriately.# # # # ADDENDUM FOR QUALITY/EDUCATION MANAGER # In addition to the Specific Duties listed above: # Manages the quality improvement/compliance activities of Munson Home Health.# This includes assisting with the development and implementation of the QI plans for all programs, including skilled home care, private duty, hospice, home infusion, and medical equipment company.# Assures submission of timely, meaningful reports. # Oversees development, implementation and evaluation of the agency education plans, including staff development programs, orientation, competency evaluation, and training. # Maintains current knowledge of and proficiency with CHAP standards and Medicare certification and licensure.# Organizes and directs all activities at all sites to assure compliance in these areas. # Responsibility for development and achievement of departmental budget and goals. # Oversees focused clinical record audits and reports findings and recommendations to Operations. # Oversees process for response to third-party payer#s queries and denials. # Manages the coding function for Home Care/Hospice. # Oversees the Risk Management function including development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan annually. # Oversees the Clinical Practice Committee.# Leads and/or participates in PAC, QAPI committees and PI activities, etc. # Oversees patient satisfaction surveys including collection, analysis, presentation of data and development, implementation, and evaluation of action plans to improve patient satisfaction. # Manages Home works/Road Notes software testing, training and implementation as well as oversee use of regulatory software for data submission.
