Manager, Global Product Management - Marketing / Communications

Overview

  • Mastercard Send facilitates the secure delivery of funds between senders and receivers, typically within seconds. Through a single connection to Mastercard Send, businesses, merchants, governments, humanitarian organizations, financial institutions and others can send money to consumers and businesses domestically and cross border. Mastercard Send supports multiple use cases, including person-to-person (P2P) transfers, business to consumers (B2C) disbursements and business to business (B2B) disbursements. With our technology and expertise we are making sending money safe, simple and fast.

  • The Manager, Mastercard Send Product Management, is a member of the Mastercard Send team responsible for supporting strategy, planning, marketing and communications efforts globally.

Role

  • Lead research and insights efforts, identifying opportunities to apply strategic and analytical rigor to derive impactful insights improve product performance, and develop thought leadership

  • In partnership with global product marketing and global external comms teams, support marketing, communications and thought leadership efforts, both internally and externally, to create demonstrable leadership in the card-based money transfers space and support Mastercard Send's commercialization efforts globally.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key constituents across the business (e.g., Global and Regional Product, Global and Regional Product Market and Communications leads, etc.) to ensure successful project execution.

  • Support strategic projects as needed, including strategy development efforts for the Mastercard Send team.

  • Support efforts to champion LAC region at global level.

  • Reports to Director, Product Management.

  • Location: Purchase, NY.

All About You

Experience/Education requirements

  • Deep and demonstrable experience in marketing and communications from a product perspective, with digital payments experience preferred.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.

  • Superb organization and project management skills and the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.

  • Demonstrated track record of championing cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives and driving initiatives to the desired outcome.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

  • Preference for Spanish and/or Portuguese language abilities.

Job Title Director, Global Commercial Travel Product Management Overview The Global Travel product management team, part of Mastercard's Commercial Products team, oversees the products, platforms and services that bring safe, smart and simple payment solutions to corporates all over the world. In partnership with our bank customers in each region, we deliver these solutions with the aim of providing best-in-class customer experience to all stakeholders, including issuers, their corporate customers, travel managers, and travel suppliers like airlines, hotels and travel agents. We are refining the direction of our products to incorporate the increasingly digital and data-driven nature of payments, and where the environment is made more complex by the diverse needs of a modern global businesses. We are looking for a team member who can identify opportunities and execute strategies to enhance our business travel payments products, particularly in the areas of corporate card and virtual card for travel.
