Excellent opportunity for highly motivated individual to assume the Senior Manager of Global Mobility Accounting role within the Controller’s organization responsible for managing accounting associated with Carrier’s expatriate employee population.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • You'll have the overall responsibility for Global Mobility ledger accounts
  • Responsible for setup of assignment cost collector upon assignment initiation
  • Processes invoices and tax payments based on authorized approvals (Global Mobility HR)
  • Ensures posting of US centralized pay groups to assignment cost collectors
  • Records assignment of tax accruals where applicable
  • You'll ensure timely cross-charge of assignment costs to appropriate host location
  • Ensures costs follow assignee for Global Mobility population (governance)
  • You'll provide centralized oversight and reports on assignment costs for BU
  • Tracks signed intercompany agreements that support cross charge arrangements

Education / Certifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. in Accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • MBA a plus
Experience /

  • 10+ years of related corporate accounting experience
  • Robust accounting and controls experience
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • SAP and Hyperion Financial Management experience required
  • Global mobility payroll / tax experience a plus
  • You should possess strong communication with the demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of Controller's department and other support functions (HR, Legal, Tax) and Business Unit staff and management

The Lead Human Resources, US Biologics Campus – Global Product Supply Operations has responsibility over all GPS operations across US Biologics Campus as well as integration of HR policies and strategies across the campus and all BMS organizations. The scope includes the US Biologics drug product sites of Devens, MA (900 employees) and Syracuse (300 employees) responsibility. The leader of this team partners with the HR Lead, GPS Operations and has 4 HRBPs respectively. Position Responsibilities * Provides strategic HR Business Partner leadership to the site GMs & their respective teams in order to drive business performance and foster cooperation across the enterprise. * Leads a team of HRBPs dedicated to respective sites by articulating a clear vision, and ensuring the implementation and success of the People Strategy and the full implementation of the HR Operating Model. * Strategic and Consultative, and drives execution excellence through the People Services team * Leverages business strategy, people strategy, external best practices and organizational insights to deliver bold and innovative organizational and talent solutions. * Contributes actively to Operations talent plan with an enterprise lens. * Applies "systems thinking" and leads change for effectiveness of organization performance through the use of metrics and analytics in a way that drives business performance. * Applies judgment to data insights and trends to support business talent and organization decisions that drives organizational effectiveness and innovative and robust workforce planning , engagement strategies, and succession management * Collaborates across the HR OP Model (COE's, People Services) to articulate business needs and partners in delivering solutions in ways that bring value across the enterprise; Accountable for the full implementation and stabilization of the HR Operating Model for both GPS sites, which includes establishing priorities with PS and CoE partners as well as leading the change with the sites leadership. * In charge of driving the plants Work Force Planning and organization efficiencies, including major shift in manufacturing processes in line with GPS network strategy. Defines and leads change management efforts to ensure delivery of organizational solutions, programs and deliverables * Establishes the People Strategy to support the US Biologics Campus integrated campus approach, in close partnership with the campus BMS leadership * Partners with the US Commercial HR team to provide appropriate support to the Commercial office and GM * Takes a leadership role in creating a respectful and inclusive work environment while role-modeling the BMS Behaviors and fostering cultural diversity. * Represents BMS with external environment in the local/state communities and establish a proper branding strategy with key external stakeholders incl. schools, colleges and local communities. QUALIFICATIONS Degree/Certification/Licensure * College/University BA/BS Degree, Advanced Degree preferred Experience – Responsibility and minimum number of years * 10+ years of HR experience preferably in multinational businesses with US prior experience Competencies – Knowledge, Skills Abilities * Extensive experience as an HR business partner with significant leadership skills and experience building and leading global, diverse teams of HR professionals. * Proven success in working effectively at senior management levels to impact and influence decision making * Experience working with global teams * Proven application in leveraging business acumen and external insights to improve business and talent outcomes * Experience in leading change management efforts including defining change and communication plans * Experience in the use of metrics and analytics in a way that drives business performance * Demonstrated experience in applying workforce planning knowledge, engagement strategies, and succession management * Proven experience in working effectively within a matrixed environment and building alignment in a cross functional and team environment * Knowledge of external trends and factors that influence human behaviors and decision-making at the individual, group, and organizational level Role primarily based in Devens, MA and will require to split time between the other BMS location in US Biologics Campus.
