Position Summary

The Manager, Digital Asset Management assumes the responsibility of temporarily managing a global team and for leading the project planning of Global Digital Assets projects that have department and/or corporate level strategic importance with asset storage and distribution initiatives. This position is expected to manage multiple large and complex projects, have strong customer service skills and use keen business acumen to interpret the ideas and input of people from diverse functional backgrounds and use this accumulated knowledge to suggest solutions. The Manager will work closely with the Executive Producer and Creative Director to support Bain's brand assets.

Essential Functions

  • Manage global team, located in New Delhi and Warsaw

  • Manage overall progress of the Global Digital Assets team on asset storage, cataloging and distribution initiatives/projects

  • Overall project management: Drive discussions and help to determine strategy around projects. Gather feedback and options, create recommendations, get buy-in from stakeholders and decide on development approach/next steps.

  • Digital Asset storage: Understanding that all digital assets are curated within media storage and distribution platforms

  • Digital Asset cataloging: Identify and assist in curating and packaging existing content to promote reuse and awareness

  • Collaborate with global team responsible for storing and retrieving the digital assets and tracking assets

  • Collaborate with global team members to ensure proper classification and application of data as required by internal clients and metadata standards

  • Digital Asset distribution: Help support and manage high level distribution and integration requests as Bain continues to evolve and expand distribution methods.

  • Lead integration initiatives to onboard new distribution channels

  • Respond to requests and facilitate retrieval of digital assets

  • Oversee the issuing of released digital assets for internal and external use

  • Track historical use of all digital asset requests

  • Manage multiple large scale projects.

  • Some projects include:

  • Implementation of new Marketing site, including integration with Digital Asset Management system

  • Implementation of Project Management solution for team, including possible integration with Digital Asset Management system

  • Collaboration of Brand and Visual Identity projects

  • Collaboration on Project CORE, supporting image distribution for firm through Digital Asset Management integration

  • Collaboration on implementation on new LMS

  • Project Management of projects include the following responsibilities:

  • Define project tasks and resource requirements. Facilitate discussion of goals/deliverables, schedule tasks, identify risks, plan contingencies, and maintain overall work plan

  • Cross team project status meetings and capture meeting notes/action items to ensure efficient project workflow

  • Ensure all deliverables are complete and on time/budget before they are delivered to the customer

  • Identify opportunities for change or process improvement

  • Anticipate customer needs and propose solutions to increase customer satisfaction

  • Provide coverage for global team on distribution requests for high priority / time sensitive requests

  • Responsible for management and relationship with technology vendors

  • Brightcove (video streaming) and Widen (digital asset management)

  • Generate innovative ideas to resolve problems, creating recommendations for leadership, and communicate decisions. Utilize leadership, negotiation, and collaboration skills to build consensus around solutions.

  • Assumes other duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7+ years work experience in digital asset management and/or video distribution

  • Self-starter with strong leadership, project management and organizational skills

  • Strong English language skills

  • Communicates clearly and professionally in both written form and verbally

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects; Strong analytic and problem solving skills.

  • Experience with digital asset management, technical projects and search technologies


  • Preferred majors: Project Management, Library Science, Archive Management, Communications or Information systems

  • Willingness to learn, open to feedback.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams

  • Strong proficiency in digital asset management solutions, metadata practices and asset distribution

  • Experience in media management, familiar with most media formats, distribution and asset workflows
