Manager, Global Field Distribution & Logistics

Design, develop, implement and improve operations processes to produce, provide and or distribute cost effective quality medical device products and systems. Provide operations expertise to create, document and implement required procedures and documents while driving operational performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work to identify issues and risks relating to operations performance. During new product development integrate with Operations Team, Distribution, Engineers, Design Engineers, Quality Engineers and the Packaging Department/and or Production Department to ensure cost effective new product development and introduction into operations, distribution and or manufacturing.
Provide supervision, leadership, and expertise for order fulfillment including the distribution of products/services for field operations and customers to include: order entry; picking, shipping, tracking and usage. Maintain a state of constant audit readiness.
Support & develop field operational plans through value stream analysis and six-sigma initiatives.
Develop metrics dashboards to drive accuracy and productivity across all field operational areas.
Develop a continuous improvement culture, skills sets and tools to enhance quality and operational excellence. Lead/support process improvement initiatives.
Develop metrics, scorecards, dashboards & executive review process to meet & sustain project, or division performance levels. Collaborated with domestic & international regions as necessary.
Develop protocols and coordinate validation of equipment and processes. Drive automation to replace the manual process as much as possible
Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
