Compensation: $99,900 - $133,200 per year

  • This range reflects Carestream's good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary:

The Global Compensation Manager is primarily responsible for the analysis, design, and administration of Carestream's total compensation program, which includes base and incentive plans that are consistent with "pay for performance" compensation philosophy, market conditions, internal equity, and aligned with the company's established job architecture. This includes the setup and maintenance of systems used to administer base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs for Carestream employees based in 10+ countries around the world. Participates in compensation surveys and related projects to ensure competitive & consistent pay practices, policies, and procedures globally. Expected to stay abreast of current legislation, industry trends, and new technology making recommendations for changes and improvements.

Position can be in our Rochester, NY headquarters (hybrid schedule) or remote U.S. based.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs.

  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.

  • Acts as subject matter expert, advising HR Business Partners and Regional Leads on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.

  • Designs creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.

  • Develops techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data to show effectiveness of compensation programs and plans.

  • Oversees the participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.

  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws, such as pay transparency and minimum wage regulations.

Required Skills & Education:

  • 5+ years' HR compensation experience, preferably global.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven ability to execute annual merit and bonus cycle, preferably in global setting.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management.

  • Experience with HR systems (i.e., Successfactors)

  • Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and execute tasks in tight deadlines.

  • Ability to support teams in multiple time zones globally, which at times may be before/after standard U.S. Eastern time zone work schedule.

Desired Skills:

  • Results driven/goal oriented.

  • Highly proficient time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.

  • Experience conducting pay equity audits with ability to influence decisions based on results.

  • Familiarity with Sales Compensation and Executive Compensation programs and packages.

  • Project management or coordination experience.

Work Environment:

Office environment, less than 10% travel
