Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform budget, pace and long range plan forecasting and variance analysis

  • Work closely with Production Finance, Digital Finance, Ad Sales Finance, Corporate Allocators, and HQ Accounting teams

  • Collaborate and liaise with Marketing and Programing management

  • Support of Operating Cash Flow and Free Cash Flow excel models for both actuals and forecasts. Responsible for reporting these results to senior level management

  • Manage quarter close process including, but not limited to, coordination of matrix organization for ledger reconciliation vs forecast, journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and data requests

  • Team leader for Sports BPC submissions, Corporate BPC submissions, SAP/BW, and SNAP approvals

  • Perform ad hoc analyses as needed, providing insightful views into the Company's operations and financial performance

  • Lead Sports BPC initiatives and monthly forecast/close mandate

  • Find, evaluate, and report on risks and opportunities to the company's goals and commitments

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in finance/accounting of related field

  • Minimum of four (4) years relevant experience in finance/accounting

  • Proficient in use of SAP/BW/BPC or similar accounting software

Additional Qualifications

  • Proficient in Windows environment; Advanced Excel skills

  • Ability to set and manage priorities in order to meet deadlines

  • Accountable at all times

  • Comfortable communicating results and financial/accounting concepts with finance and operational leadership

  • Ability to effectively work independently

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Detail oriented and ability to accurately and efficiently handle multiple tasks at once

The ideal candidate will successfully generate positive press for the network's programming, will support various publicity initiatives, and lead certain projects. This position reports into the VP, Communications.
