About Mount Carmel Dublin:

Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided:

  • 14-bay emergency department

  • 10-bay observation unit

  • 30 acute inpatient beds

  • 4 operating rooms

  • Level 1 cardiac capability

  • Advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing

  • Attached MOB

The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for:

  • Primary Care, Neurology

  • Cardiology

  • Vascular

  • Other independent specialists

Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.

This position will be hired to staff Mount Carmel Dublin. While construction is underway, the majority of training will take place at Mount Carmel St. Ann's located at 500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. We are expecting Mount Carmel Dublin to open Spring of 2025.

About the Unit:

Mount Carmel Dublin's Cardiovascular interventional procedural Department is a mixture of Emergency Department patients, outpatient diagnostic testing and inpatient imaging exams with a wide array of medical diagnoses. The unit will have interventional radiology, Cath Lab, and EP lab procedure availability. Our approach will empower colleagues to expand their skills and support multiple modalities to help support the department as a whole. About the job:

The Manager for Imaging and Interventional Services, serves as the front line leader to plan, organize, staff, direct and insure collaborative multidisciplinary patient care delivery across numerous departments Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization. Works collaboratively with physicians and service line leaders in developing programs and patient care services. Coordinates and integrates interdepartmental and intradepartmental services. Responsible for total manpower supervision for all personnel in the invasive and diagnostic areas. Responsible for financial, supply, equipment control and cost-containment in the diagnostic and interventional services. Practices within the scope of current nursing or radiology tech guidelines and approved policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality in all situations involving Mount Carmel Health systems, customers, employees, and stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • Managing Performance: Provides coaching, direction, and leadership for all diagnostic and invasive area employees.

  • Provides coaching, support, guidance, and developmental opportunities for staff in areas of responsibility.

  • Evaluates performance in terms of skills, knowledge, ability, and productivity. Participates in planning and facilitating education opportunities for patient care staff and self. Ensures nurses and tech competency. Administers Human Resources policies fairly and consistently.

  • Planning: Recommends and implements new diversified services in a competitive health environment. Assures that invasive and diagnostic procedures and equipment are in keeping with professional standards.

  • Financial Performance: Develops, recommends, and implements goals and policies for the resource management of the diagnostic and procedural areas including budgeting and allocation of human resources, capital expenses, physical facilities and supplies.

  • Performance Improvement: In accordance with system wide and departmental performance improvement programs, assists with sustaining all systems for monitoring, reporting, and improving the quality of services originating from the department. Focuses on regulatory compliance and addresses risk management issues. Participates in planning educational opportunities for better patient care, self-development, and utilization of available health care services. Coordinates participation in accredited educational programs for the training of Radiology Tech/Nursing students.

  • Lead daily huddles to align staffing resources and direct these resources to appropriate departments

  • Co-manage as member of physician dyad to ensure meeting physician needs for operational efficiencies, as well as accountability to resolve operational issues to meet service line goals.

  • Implement cost saving strategies related to supply chain in alignment with procedural volumes.

  • Monitor patient care experience and evaluate and implement strategies to improve delivery of care.

  • Responsible for compliance with Organizational Integrity through raising questions and

  • promptly reporting actual or potential wrongdoing.

  • All other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Associate/Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare field preferred, Masters Preferred

  • Licensure / Certification:

  • Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and

  • Valid State of Ohio Radiological License (if required). or

  • Registered as RDCS, RVT, RCS, RVS, RN, RT(N), or CNMT or

  • Graduate from School of Nursing with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio required

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of five years recent and relevant clinical experience

  • Minimum of three years recent and relevant Leadership experience

  • Effective Communication Skills

  • Demonstrates ability to assess, develop and mentor a patient care team.

  • Evidence of effective leadership and management abilities/potential.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities as well as proven ability to collaborate with physicians.

  • BLS healthcare provider training required. ACLS preferred
