Your Mission

The Manager, Financial Applications, IT will be responsible for the following main areas: Ongoing partnering and strategic relationship management for all Finance Applications and overseeing operational support of these applications.

This role includes managing various implementations and the delivery of requested enhancements to Oracle financial applications and other applications used within Finance such as Revenue Reporting, Sabrix or equivalent tax applications, AP Imaging solutions, Oracle GRC, Alliant and Oracle Cloud implementations.

This role also includes managing the relationships with Oracle eBusiness Suite, Hyperion Planning and other cross functional applications/teams; project management for design, development and testing of new functionality.

This position requires an individual who will be hands-on (70/30 split - functional/manager), strong tactical decision maker and leader of day-to-day operations, manage people or programs to meet business objectives and quality standards through advanced knowledge of best practices in a defined area of expertise. A successful candidate will be able to provide input towards strategic decisions that affect functional area of responsibility in addition to being able to establish operational objectives and work plans, and delegate assignments to subordinates.

Player Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Finance or Accounting, or related field

  • Working knowledge of the following applications:

  • Oracle EBS R12.x and/or Oracle Fusion Applications (covering the following: General Ledger, SLA, Payables, Receivables, Purchasing/iProcurement, E-Business Tax, iExpense, AGIS, Cash Management, Assets)

  • Highly preferred working knowledge of: Sabrix, Kofax Markview (or similar imaging and workflow applications).

  • Highly preferred working knowledge of: Revenue Reporting applications (RevStream, RevPro, Oracle Revenue Cloud (or similar applications).

  • Substantial experience in a process or functional leadership role. Typically has 8+ years of direct work experience with 2+ years of people management experience.

  • Track record of working with Finance professionals, partnering with them and driving projects to completion that support business goals and strategies.

  • Proven project management experience.

  • Excellent communications skills that can be called on both with business users as well as the technology group and across the enterprise.

  • Technical expertise:

  • Demonstrates substantial knowledge of related technologies and has ability to integrate and apply this knowledge base to achieve innovative solutions.

  • Anticipates the impact of problems and solutions on other systems and areas.

  • Has the ability to write SQL queries used in troubleshooting issues; working knowledge of TOAD or SQL Developer and a working knowledge of the underlying Oracle database and tables within.
