The Manager, Financial Reporting (Financial Analysis & Planning) will be responsible for being the Hyperion Administrator and designing and maintaining a standard suite of reports. As the Hyperion Administrator, this position will be responsible for the development, maintenance and ongoing support of Hyperion Financial Management and Essbase. Ownership over financial reporting includes designing and deploying a comprehensive package of reports using Hyperion's Financial Reporting Studio. This role will interface and work directly with business groups that utilize the applications to gather ongoing requirements for enhancements/changes as well as support their existing processes and reporting.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Support the business in monthly reporting and in the budgeting/forecasting processes.
Support on-going training to ensure all functional users understand the application capabilities delivered and how they can utilize it to perform their roles.
Optimize the Hyperion Essbase cubes performance, functionality and reporting attributes.
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and researches potential solutions.
Launch Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio and develop and maintain a standard suite of reports for the business.
Create and maintain VBA scripts to interact with various applications as well as to run internal rules.
Design the user experience from an end user perspective.
Maintain data integrity of information being collected and uploaded in the Hyperion applications.
Troubleshoot error logs during data and metadata loads.
Document configuration of application solutions that provide new or enhanced functionality.
Maintains system security, performs change management, configuration and testing.
Coordinate with IT and server teams as well as with Oracle to resolve any Hyperion product related challenges.
Monitors and maintains performance metrics for system features and recommends and takes correction/preventive actions.
Provide development, testing and implementation services.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, business analyst or financial reporting.
Experience administering Oracle Essbase.
