Our workforce, like our technology, is rapidly expanding and looking for a qualified Manager Financial Planning and Reporting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manager's role will lead and direct the Planning, Reporting, and Analysis team for global NDS operations. In conjunction with Senior Management, the position will have authority over the planning process and positioning the organization for strategic success. The scope of the position will include and be broken down into these functional areas: Planning

  • Forecasting/Budgeting, Financial Systems, Decision Support/Analysis/Reporting, and Administration.

Planning

  • Forecasting/Budgeting
  • Lead quarterly and annual planning processes (Income statement, balance sheet, and capital)
  • Strategically review planning outputs to ensure identification of opportunities and risks

Financial Systems Support

  • Manage relationship with IT and Finance to improve flow of financial and statistical data

  • Lead projects to extend Nabors' financial and administrative systems ensuring proper change management in order to secure subsequent efficiencies

Decision Support/Analysis/Reporting

  • Develop, implement and maintain enhanced reporting with utmost attention to timeliness, quality and usefulness of information for Sr. Management decision-making both day to day and strategic in nature

  • Provide management with insightful data for decision support and improved operations

  • Proactively review financial results and trends to identify opportunities for optimizing financial performance

Administration

  • Lead and manage team (2 analysts) in developing technical skills and competencies by effectively advocating, implementing, and supporting changes in processes and initiatives

  • Liaise with department heads to ensure understanding of current business developments and trends (financial, payroll, HR, supply chain, etc.)

Other

  • Overtime will be necessary during monthly closing, forecasting and special projects

  • Assist with/coordinate special projects or responsibilities, as needed

JOB DESCRIPTION The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is a key contributor to the US and Canadian Operations, spearheading North America's financial forecasting and budgeting process, variance analysis, internal reporting and special projects. The Financial Manager will provide financial consulting and strategic support to the Leadership Teams including financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, identifying cost trends/analyses, facilitating cost control and other projects requested. This function acts as North America's analytical engine, providing insight and support for business decision-making purposes. The position reports to North America's Financial Reporting Controller. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, operating costs, sales general and administrative expenses, and capital expenditures Develop and monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance Coordinate with Product Line Operation Controllers and other departments Oversee, manage and assist with the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes Support the Leadership Teams and Departments heads with in-depth analyses Other, as required by Management QUALIFICATIONS Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred 10+ years of experience primarily focused in Financial Planning and Analysis Strong leadership skills required. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Hyperion, JDE and/or Microsoft Dynamics preferred. Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
