JOB SUMMARY

The Manager of FP&A will be accountable for analyzing, forecasting and reporting on select drivers of the business unit's annual operating profit. This role will assist with planning, managing and validating certain components of the Brand P&L. They will be integral to the Period Close process, and will be responsible for updating the forecast model and serving as the primary liaison with the Control team. They will also own Capital planning and forecasting including the capex approval process. In addition, this position will assist in the AOP process, including data analysis, methodology development, auditing, and account loading, all of which are critical to achieving Brand profit targets.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly reforecast processes to develop a sound and achievable financial plan

  • Partner with the control team and prepare monthly and quarterly reporting on P&L performance that is timely and accurate

  • Communicate results and forecast via oral and written presentations on a period basis to leadership

  • Conduct performance analysis by evaluating operating trends vs. plan, forecast and prior year to add insight into the business performance and to uncover opportunities for sales and profit improvement

  • Ongoing financial planning, including financial and capital budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis to support the brand.

  • Opportunity to manage 1-2 direct reports

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus

  • 5+ years relevant work experience (e.g., Financial Reporting & Analysis, Business Operations, Corporate Finance, Consulting)

  • Strong internal motivation, intellectual curiosity, logical thinking and ability to identify and leverage best practices

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication/presentation skills, with ability to partner well with other team members and interface effectively with all levels of management

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with ability to succinctly interpret data for executives and frame business issues in a straightforward manner

  • Effective in managing large amounts of data and using financial and data base analytical tools (i.e. Excel, Access, Hyperion)

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $130,500.00 to 153,600.00 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
