About You

We’re seeking a resulted-focused, innovative, self-driven and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Manager Financial Planning Analysis & Reporting, Global. Based out of our Torrington, Connecticut location, you will facilitate sound business decisions in support of strategic and long-term objectives by preparing and developing financial data, models, and reports in support of business growth and other strategic initiatives.  Also, by providing on-going business modeling and analysis; and effectively disseminating business performance management metrics

You will:

  • Facilitate business growth by designing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting models and tools that can be used for effective analysis and decision making. Also, by leveraging best practices as planning and reporting processes are refined, streamlined, and optimized.   
  • Optimize financial budgeting and forecasting processes and systems by exploring, Implementing, and managing best practices to yield robust financial reporting capabilities.
  • Improve companywide awareness of financial results by establishing best practices in the preparation and development of financial reports and templates that clearly communicate results, forecasted performance, and variance to plan.
  • Provide effective analysis by leveraging business knowledge to identify financial issues and opportunities to optimize results and drive / influence management decisions.
  • Increases efficiencies and reduce risk by developing, implementing, managing, and institutionalizing processes and software solutions and practices that reduce both offline manual processes and work redundancies
  • Provide financial insight to the business by compiling consolidated reports and analyses in preparation and delivery of monthly key business metrics.   Ensuring all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines are met with adherence to accounting policies and guidelines
  • Be a strategic partner and lead business initiatives by preparing and delivering ROI, ad hoc,, and cost benefit analysis as project priorities and investment opportunities emerge
  • Maintain subject matter expertise in the areas of forecasting and budgeting by seeking out external training, seminars, and trade organization memberships, and consulting with outside experts for continuous learning

Requirements

You should have:

  • BS/BA Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred
  • Strong Microsoft skills required.  Proficient in JDE EnterpriseOne, or other ERP platforms.  Experience with Financial Planning software and implementations
  • 5+ years of Financial Planning, Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting, preferably in a global environment.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; proven ability to work across all levels of a company.
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management and implementation

Salary:$106,023 - $127,023

Our company takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of our company's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of our company's total compensation packages for employees.
