The FP&A Manager for the Dallas site is a key business partner for the Site Leadership and a key role for financial oversight, consolidation, forecasting, and reporting for the ADD Dallas Site Operations. This includes all aspects of the financial planning cycle including rLBEs, annual Plan and LRP cycles and reporting of actual results on a monthly basis including all variance analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of month-end close process for Dallas Operations & QA including manufacturing cost variance analysis.

  • Ensure accuracy of monthly financials reported to Division and coordinate commentary as needed

  • Partner with Leadership, as well as finance and operations colleagues to learn the business and apply this knowledge to daily work

  • Establishing, maintaining, and managing the financial planning processes to deliver meaningful and comprehensive Plans and LBEs, assuring compliance with Division requirements.

  • Plays a leadership role in identifying trend anomalies/risks/opportunities within Dallas Operations P&L forecasts.

  • Manage all aspects of the monthly financial close process for Dallas Operations & QA including manufacturing cost variance analysis, spending, project expense, balance sheet and headcount reporting.

  • Responsible for understanding the key strategic priorities for the site to create effective analyses/communication for presentation of financial components to Senior Leadership.

  • Responsible for all aspects of Standard Cost development, planning and implementation on an annual basis, including excess capacity, Inventory revaluation, design changes and all other impacts as required.

  • Act as a key liaison with Demand Planning team to ensure connection with financial results/forecasts, playing a key role in the S&OP process, inventory planning and project analysis.

  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and backup schedules to assist finance leadership in decision-making process.

  • Manages Senior Financial Analyst as a direct report.

  • Provide Monthly Business Review/ IBP materials and other dashboards for Site Staff reviews.

  • Support cost center expense planning, forecasting and reporting.

  • Partner with CFS Finance back office on accounting policies and its compliance.

  • Provides support on site level strategic projects.

  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain to develop accurate and insightful financial Plans and forecasts. Continually review and improve forecast accuracy.

  • Create tools and models to drive process efficiencies, identifying opportunities and risks to existing business and new business potential.

  • Ensure site financial compliance with regards to new processes, procedures and support both internal and external audit activities.

  • The Dallas Site FP&A Manager position reports to the Dallas Site Controller.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in finance/accounting

  • 6+ years of finance experience

  • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics preferred

  • Strategic mindset, strong analytical skills and effective communication skills are necessary to succeed in this position

  • Experience with Oracle and SAP ERP systems

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Knowledgeable in MS Access databases is a plus.

  • Prior experience in detailed cost analysis and standard cost setting desirable

Develop financial analysis, including scenario driven analysis as appropriate, to determine likely financial outcomes. * Partner with and provide analytical support as needed to RSC departments and Executives as they evaluate various strategic business opportunities. * Supports CFO by preparing materials for Board of Directors' meetings and other executive presentations.
