Manager Financial Operations

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager Financial Operations is responsible for managing people, accounting, and collaborating with corporate accounting to report accurate financial information.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage financial operations teams including accounts receivable, accounts payable, Payroll, Financial Analysts, and General Liability Insurance.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year-end close.

• Work-In-Progress reporting.

• Perform monthly revenue and cost reviews.

• Monitor and audit Business Unit cost and profitability status.

• Review and approve all financial processes and make decisions to improve the financial results of the company.

• Audit project accounting practices, including billing, accounts receivable follow-up, lien waivers, purchase order reconciliations, change orders, subcontract management, and contract requirements.

• Financial liaison between financial operations, and corporate accounting.

• Collaborate with controller regarding accounting processes impacting job costing.

• Conduct finance operations meetings.

• Prepare monthly management reports.

• Ensure the accuracy of the system through analysis, internal audit, and coordination.

• Ensure project accounting teams achieve common goals, collaborate, develop, and implement consistent practices across all business units.

• Contractors, vendor, and client prequalification and risk mitigation.

• Work in collaboration with the Business Unit Directors, Controller, and Operations to achieve common goals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of experience or equivalent experience
• CPA Certification desirable

Pay Equity

$127000- $140000

This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
