Manager, Financial Analysis

Job Summary:

The Financial Manager is part of a top-tier finance and analytics team which supports business leaders and executives in their efforts to make decisions to implement strategies and operational improvements that enhance the Company's performance. This individual should work with high intensity and integrity, possess intellectual curiosity, demonstrate leadership abilities, be effective communicating with senior leaders in the organization, and a have passion for excellence. The Financial Manager will work with business partners to provide insights, reporting, forecasts and recommendations for future process improvements to help meet Company and division strategy and growth targets.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day interaction with divisional business leaders including President and VP level executives

• Partner with business leaders to determine strategic operational or financial objectives and identify opportunities to meet those goals

• Perform deep-dive analytics to provide insight and understanding of core business drivers

• Create models, forecasts, and analysis for strategic initiatives

• Take ownership of specific pieces of the P&L and work with operational and financial partners to develop reporting and scenario modeling to assist with driving changes to the business as needed

• Prepare senior executive level presentation materials to be used internally and externally

• Proven ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-evolving environment with tight deadlines

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and variance analysis, as well as the budgeting and forecasting processes

• Drive continual process improvement leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale the business

Skills/Abilities:

• Expert proficiency in Excel, experience building complex revenue models

• Proficient in SQL and Cube based reporting a plus

• Demonstrated experience in managing large scale company processes

• Ability to understand and present the story behind the data and the model in PowerPoint and Email

• Strong ability to utilize various reporting, finance, and analytics tools

• Motivated, self-starter; ability to accomplish goals independently

• Strong attention to detail and first run reporting accuracy

• Intellectual curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset

• Ability to thrive on both structured and unstructured project requests

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a drive to deliver results

• Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills

• Articulate and well-spoken; strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field)
• MBA preferred
• 8+ years of applicable finance and/or accounting experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
