How we LEAD:
Virgin Music Group is looking for a Finance Manager to be first point of contact to our third-party label partners and support the overall finance team. The successful candidate will have exceptional relationship management skills, possesses an analytical mind, is capable of prioritizing and completing multiple tasks in a timely manner, is results driven and will serve as an advocate for VMG's artist and label partners. This position reports to the Director of Finance.
How you'll CREATE:
Provide day-to-day finance management support to VMG's label partners, management team, and finance team, including:
Intercompany/Third-Party Chargeback Management- Identify allocation amounts to be charged-back internally and to external distributed label partners. Manage process from approvals to monthly invoice/settlement.
Financial Planning and Analysis

BA in Accounting or related field of study, MBA or CPA valued (or relevant work history)
Minimum 5 years of accounting and/or finance experience; including financial management, budgeting, customer management, and policy enforcement.
Expert Excel skills and advanced proficiency Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other office tools.
Demonstrated ability to quickly gain proficiency in multiple proprietary systems (i.e., UniPort, SAP, ExpenSys, etc.).
Clear, effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably at all levels of the organization and partners.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to successfully prioritize multiple tasks with minimal oversight.
Self-starter with the ability to work both efficiently and effectively under pressure and meet deadlines and in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Must be results-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Music/entertainment industry experience a plus.
