KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Risk Strategy & Compliance - Risk Analytics for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality, professional day-to-day execution of audit engagements and projects in line with firm risk management practices

  • Develop and support an enterprise risk management program, including the establishment of foundational processes, governing bodies, and operating models

  • Support the identification, assessment, and monitoring of organizational risks

  • Integrate internal controls programs and enterprise risk management programs under OMB A-123 guidance

  • Deliver ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) implementation, to include development of governance guidance, development and/or refinement of risk profiles, supporting reports to client leadership on risks / mitigation strategy

  • Work on teams focused on advisory projects and assist engagement management to successfully complete engagement objectives

  • Help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients and lead client presentations

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of Enterprise Risk Management and/or experience performing internal or external audits and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; CPA, CIA or CISA and U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred

  • Working knowledge and experience with auditing tools such as IDEA, Audit Control Language and proficiency in Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

  • Core competencies in enterprise risk management and supplemental internal control experience

  • Ability to integrate government operating models of governing policies, procedures, internal controls, strategic planning, and enterprise risk management

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and experience in supervising staff level associates and senior associates

  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time

Responsibilities: * Review and evaluate financial risk, financial compliance, including controls related to Federal entities * Provide high quality, professional day-to-day execution of engagements and projects in line with frim risk management practices to U.S. Federal government clients * Develop audit / compliance programs, working papers, and internal audit reports * Assist in preparing risk assessments and annual audit plans * Review and evaluate Federal financial business processes * Develop and sustain solid relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to provide additional services Qualifications: * A minimum of three years of Federal financial management and/or financial auditing in accordance with Office of Management & Budget (OMB), Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) standards * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business related field; CPA and U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred * Experience in areas of: A-123, federal financial audit, financial management * Experience analyzing financial and systems business processes and controls * Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills * Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements * Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time, which requires U.S. Citizenship KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
