Role and Responsibility:

  • Lead Business Analysis efforts that enhance EPMO business services, improve business analysis service deliverables, and support processes for strategic enterprise projects

  • Responsible for managing team to ensure requirements, testing processes and comprehensive portfolio aligns with strategic and operational improvement initiatives to meet business partner group (BPG) goals

  • Assist with promoting business analysis practices, roles and responsibilities across the enterprise

  • Continuously refine and improve the requirements management life cycle practices, traceability model, user acceptance testing practices, moving to standardized practices and improved processes

  • Responsible for the relationship between key business stakeholders and business services and accountable for the team's delivery of the associated business services

  • Understand the overarching business models as well as the intricacies and nuances of the functional business areas

  • Create a seamless ability for business partners to leverage the business services and expertise of the EPMO organization to obtain the solutions necessary to ensure success

  • Work closely with customers, business partners, project managers, and team members to articulate and ensure business requirements drive the analysis and design of quality solutions that are aligned with business and architecture standards

  • Develop business requirements, UAT strategy and high-level transition plans for the delivery of business services

  • Evaluate enterprise staffing needs and weigh against effectiveness of available internal capacity and ensure leadership team and real time team are aware of unmitigated capacity shortages that will put key performance indicators at risk

  • Analyze forecasted volume with consideration to historical trends and initiatives known to impact workload minutes or staffing

  • Maintain a framework of business analysis and requirement standards and best practice methodologies that are repeatable and evidence based

  • Facilitate EPMO groups including COE's, COP's and committees

  • Assist with rapid resolution or escalation of issues and blockers

  • Assist with creation, management, maintenance, refinement, dissemination, and adherence to business requirements management policies, procedures, and standards

  • Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and developing direct reports including completing performance reviews and disciplinary actions

  • Oversee development and dissemination of EPMO training materials

  • Manage the EPMO capacity planning standards and processes

  • Perform any other job related instructions, as requested

Requirements

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required

  • Master's degree preferred

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of related work experience, to include at least five (5) years of requirements lifecycle and/or test lifecycle, project, and business relationship management experience is required

  • Familiarity of the healthcare payer industry and knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare is preferred
