The Position: Were looking for an experienced Manager of Environmental Affairs to join our team.This position will be responsible for:

  • Expertise in marine navigation, air navigation, geology, socioeconomics, fisheries, linear projects, onshore/offshore cable installation
  • Managing specialized consultants in areas listed above
  • Overseeing preparation of applications and ongoing filings
  • Government agency communication
  • Document management

Requirements:
The right candidate will possess a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field; three to eight years relevant permitting experience in a US based project.Experience in permitting offshore, energy, and Massachusetts projects is desired, but not required. Demonstrated understanding of permitting processes, complexities, challenges, and opportunities required.

The Location: Vineyard Wind is based in Boston, MA, and our construction project will take place off of Marthas Vineyard, MA.

They are responsible for OVP front desk coverage (in person and telephone), procurement, calendar maintenance, and other executive, operational, and administrative support duties as directed to support department and unit priorities. Additionally, the Senior Administrative Coordinator assists Combined Enrollment Services in the provision of customer service to BU students and families through email response, and completes operational tasks as assigned to support CES. The Senior Administrative Coordinator also assists in the preparation and dissemination of OVP and ENSA communication, including basic web development and maintenance. An associates degree with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience is required, a bachelors degree is preferred. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as a member of a team, excellent communication skills, and high levels of tact and discretion.
