Manager Enterprise Project Management Office
Responsible for the management, direction, and strategy for the enterprise wide projects at Lake Trust Credit Union. This position manages the enterprise portfolio of projects, helping ensure initiatives delivered in accordance with intended objectives, with high quality, and deliver strategic business value. This position requires effective leadership skills and collaboration with stakeholders, project teams and third party providers.
What You'll Do
Establish the overall direction and engagement of the EPMO by developing and implementing strategic plans aligned to furthering the development and growth, and value the EPMO brings to Lake Trust.
Create organizational credibility with respect to all project management deliverables and process efficiencies by instilling the culture of execution, operational excellence, and accountability for outcomes.
Effectively builds consensus with key stakeholders, executive team, and project team members across department lines.
Advocates change and continuous improvement of systems, procedures, processes, and tools in support of project, portfolio, and resource management aligned with industry best practices.
Identifies, secures, and coordinates implementation of internal and external resources (vendor) and expertise to achieve project objectives
Attract, maintain, motivate, and develop a high performing team to support the business needs today and into the future.
Partners with leaders/managers and other key stakeholders to help initiate, approve, prioritize and execute projects. Effectively provide open and honest feedback via performance reviews and 1-1 conversations
Chair tactical project portfolio meetings with key stakeholders as defined.
Leverage metrics and dashboards to assist in all aspects of delivering, prioritizing and managing organizational capacity.
Ensure regulatory and audit compliance.
Assesses projects at key milestones if appropriate and upon completion, including production of a synopsis of the implementation and a lessons learned document.
Ability to be professionally assertive in order to influence outcomes, advocate for projects, and ensure accountability.
Provides a high level of assistance to the project managers to ensure projects are carried out according to plan.
Help resolve complex project issues and/or risks.
Ensures smooth transition of completed projects into operations, including coordinating with the IT Support Services teams, Educational Technology Services, and vendor resources to provide appropriate training and support.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
What You'll Bring
BA/BS degree is required
Master's degree in Project Management, PMP, or other project management certification preferred.
Five (5) plus years of experience in a senior program/project management leadership capacity.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in project management.
Successful candidates will also have strong presentation skills.
Ability to step into projects already in progress and effectively assume a leadership role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
