Who We Are Looking For

The IT Manager will report to the VP of IT. Their primary focus will be on maintaining network uptime, vendor management, execution of corporate infrastructure projects and directing a team of desktop support staff.

What You'll Be Doing As A Part of Our Team

  • Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services

  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure

  • Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes

  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs

  • Maintain vendor relationships and support contracts

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT

  • Record and present department KPIs

  • Provide continuing education, tools and information to the desktop support team

  • Provide the final point of escalation support to internal customers

  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

  • Develop and implement disaster recovery, back-up procedures, information security and crisis management processes and tools

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional societies

  • Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training employees as required

  • Mentor, train and guide team members to achieve outstanding performance

  • Commitment to excellence in all work activities

  • Participate in after-hours support and implementation activities as required

What You Should Have to Qualify

  • 5 years of experience managing people and technology in IT operations

  • Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies

  • Windows Server / Active Directory experience

  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems

  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize

  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices

  • Superior time management and organizational skills

  • This role requires someone located in or near Dallas, Texas, or Phoenix, Arizona.

Ideally, You Would Also Have These

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Experience working in a healthcare technology environment.

  • Experience with Cisco network solutions and Mitel VOIP or similar systems.

  • Previous experience in HIPAA or PCI environments is helpful

During interviews, we'll discuss your qualifications and expectations, striving for a competitive and fair offer. The initial hiring range for this position is: $97,400 - $131,600.
