KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in CIO Advisory for our Management Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple client service delivery teams in the active execution of the client engagements in compliance with firm and practice unit service delivery standards

  • Advise clients on revenue enhancements or operational efficiencies/scalability through the design and implementation of customized operating models

  • Lead proposal and business development activities by identifying new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing/presenting proposals

  • Conceptualize, architect, and design technology based solutions to solve complex business transformation challenges faced by the global organizations across various industries

  • Developing architectural blueprints, definition of required solution components, and determination of the right technology vendor products, including but not limited to the business process management, enterprise integration, mobility, and data analytics among others

  • Contribute thought leadership to the development and evolution of our methodologies and intellectual capital including publishing articles, whitepapers or performing research in support of our initiatives

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in technology project management, business process, process delivery, and/or information systems within a top tier consulting organization or an industry

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college/university

  • A minimum of three years of experience in all aspects of the large-scale Enterprise Architecture projects, including planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and deployment of the solution

  • Working knowledge of some of the main Enterprise Architecture Frameworks like TOGAF or DoDAF

  • Experience in building models using modeling languages such as UML, IDEF, BPMN using any of the leading tools such as Mega, Casewise, ARIS, Rational Suite, Sparx and Telelogic System Architect

  • Demonstrated ability to assess and enhance business processes within an organization and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams along with demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, and project management skills

  • Travel may be up to 80-100%

This position creates and maintains the detailed descriptions and interrelationships of the essential components of services in the application domain. This role sets the current state and future direction of the application landscape, taking into account the overall IT service strategy, and is responsible for standardizing/optimizing portfoilio alignment and identifying emerging application patterns for the enterprise. This position reports to the Managing Director of Enterprise Architecture and will work in close collaboration with the CTO and senior leadership within the application domain. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE * Deliver guidance and standards on "how" Delta builds applications (patterns, technologies, processes, etc) as well as "what" and "where" applications are built (application landscapes, optimize portfolio solutions that are in alignment with business processes and portfolio alignment) * Ability to design and produce an enterprise "City Plan" that is representative of Delta's application architecture strategy * Serve as an expert for the Application Architecture domain and maintain a broad understanding of the other Enterprise Architecture domains (e.g. Business, Data, Infrastructure, and Security domains) * Determine standards related to Application Architecture concepts, components and technologies (e.g., Web, Mobile, Desktop, Mainframe, SaaS) * Work with the Enterprise Solutions Architecture team to optimize the delivery of application portfolio solutions via a deep understanding of Delta Business Processes, Business Capability Model, Taxonomy, and enterprise application landscape * Define strategies and application architectures for enterprise scale solutions to meet business needs in a flexible and agile manner * Design and maintain consistent enterprise-wide application architecture standards and associated 3-5 year technology roadmaps for key technologies * Provide strategic leadership in identifying new concepts, ideas, techniques, and technology assistance (best practices, guidelines and design patterns for supported technologies) * Engage IT leadership, both technical and managerial, for review and acceptance of architecture and standards * Work along side our EA Governance team to develop, maintain, and execute processes for the enforcement of application and technology standards, policies, and procedures across IT, external vendors, and outsourced service providers * Design and maintain standard templates, reference architectures, and design patterns that assist solution architects to develop solutions to business unit requirements that use/re-use common technology platforms * Develop and manage process for promoting the strategy and alignment of applications to business processes and owners and new/emerging technologies. * Serve as a senior technical advisor to major projects and programs * Monitor & measure the execution plan against the strategy & KPIs; identify and track gaps & opportunities.
