Overview:

Manager, Enterprise Applications

The Manager, Enterprise Applications works closely with the Head of IT and other key business decision-makers in identifying and implementing cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the business. This position provides the strategy, leadership, and day-to-day management of the global enterprise applications for Cellectis Biologics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of management.

  • Serves as subject matter expert (SME) on all technology related deliverables, tasks, activities and development of integration toolsets and practices for related ERP solution; provide expert guidance to the team on best practices, standardization and documentation; provide guidelines to ensure consistent user experiences;

  • Provides Application advisory services with functional leaders, SME's, power users, and third-party vendors to explore improvement opportunity. Communicate with various business units to gather project requirements, providing end-to-end application support;

  • Manages the operation, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of Enterprise Applications;

  • Work with stakeholders to define business and system requirements for existing and new implementations including the development of User and Functional Requirement Specifications;

  • Collaborates with analysts, technical staff and application owners with all phases of the System Development Life Cycle and Project Management standards;

  • Plans, execute and finalize projects according to timeline and budget;

  • Controls and manages production system issues: triage issues; conduct detailed impact analysis, root cause analysis, and downstream effects of modifications; Determine most effective way to operationalize fixes;

  • Implements and enforces departmental policies and procedures;

  • In coordination with departmental management, ensures compliance with regulatory and audit agency requirements;

  • Develops and executes effective control process and compliance monitoring procedures to ensure risks are measured, monitored, controlled, and mitigated

LEADERSHIP

  • Indirect management of small to mid-sized project teams.

  • Gathers on-going industry knowledge and stays abreast of new developments in the industry and in governmental regulations

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, business or related required

  • Minimum of 7 years in Information Technology and at least 4 years hands on experience in Enterprise Applications

  • 5+ year of implementation experience with an enterprise ERP

  • Minimum of 2+ full life cycle implementations.

  • Experience in Project management in leading the teams.

  • Experience in writing the functional and technical specifications for development

  • Demonstrated capability to conceptualize, analyze, and solve technical and business challenges

  • A team player and effective communicator who can build consensus

  • Ability to distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs

  • Must demonstrate excellent presentation, communication, writing and facilitation skills

  • Ability to adjust strategies and approaches quickly as conditions dictate

  • Possesses a combination of good process, conceptual, business analysis and problem-solving skills

The SRC is a multi-department Wake County facility containing: Human Services, Community Services, Sheriff's Office, Revenue, Planning, Environmental Services, and NCWORKS. The SRC allows citizens to have access to community-based services in one convenient location. The Southern Regional Center is one of the county's strategies to deliver services in coordination with a network of community partners including local municipalities, schools, faith-based, and civic organizations. Human Services is currently seeking a Human Services Family and Children's Medicaid Case Manager to become part of the SRC team. This position utilizes electronic case management and document management systems to determine Medicaid eligibility, issue benefits, and perform case management functions. This position involves a great deal of contact with clients and their representatives. An additional responsibility of the Case Manager is to assess client needs and make appropriate referrals. This is a rewarding position that gives the Case Manager daily opportunity to help families receive the assistance they need.
