Manager, Enterprise Applications & Architecture

In this role, you will be responsible for leading our newly created Enterprise Applications & Architecture function across the PPC Companies by designing and implementing enterprise-level roadmaps, architectures and solutions to support our Construction and Specialty Contractor disciplines within our operating companies. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the technology landscape and driving innovation for our operating companies.

Provide visionary leadership in the development and execution of enterprise application strategies, aligning closely with organizational goals and objectives.

Act as a strategic liaison between IT and business leaders, championing the adoption of enterprise applications, optimizing processes and enhancing business outcomes.

Lead cross-functional collaboration with business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across the Enterprise Application landscape.

Develop enterprise applications roadmaps. Oversee the end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely and successful delivery of enterprise systems implementations and digital transformation initiatives.

Function as an expert in requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, and support of core enterprise applications.

Drive governance processes, roadmap exercises, and resource planning to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and efficient resource utilization.

Maintain robust data governance, security, and compliance standards across all enterprise applications.

Serve as a high-level escalation point for troubleshooting and incident response, ensuring timely resolution and post-incident analysis.

Lead the evaluation of new technology tools, products, and solutions. Drive technology innovation and business value creation.

Manage Total Cost of Ownership, vendor contracts and relationships.

Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership and business stakeholders on product roadmaps, projects delivery and service performance of enterprise applications.

Analyze trends and disruptions and assess their impact on targeted business outcomes.

Communicate the value of enterprise architecture, and its portfolio of services.

Drive the evolution of the EA team's future services and operating model

Document integration processes, workflows, and configurations for future reference

Ensure software solutions align with business goals, meet performance requirements

Skills Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Master's degree is a plus.

8-10 years of IT Leadership experience - preferably in applications and architecture

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of enterprise systems and applications, APIs, cloud-based technologies, and integration architecture.

Significant experience with Construction industry technology and widely used systems and applications in the Construction and Specialty Contractor industries.

Knowledge of applications and concepts such as BIM Modeling, VDC, CAD, AutoDesk, Accubid, Procore, etc.

Extensive Experience in creating Application Architecture and High-Level design

Experience in integrating applications with Identity Management solutions (e.g Active Directory, Azure AD etc.

Proven track record of deploying and managing enterprise systems and digital transformation initiatives, maximizing business value.

Strong functional and domain knowledge in Business Operations, Finance, Human Resources, with a focus on process optimization, digitalization, and automation.

Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.

Proficiency in managing technical and administrative resources while effectively communicating with non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
