Manager Engineering Operations - Security Policy and Access

The Cisco Security Policy and Access team defines and delivers market-leading products and solutions to unleash the benefits of mobility, cloud, & IoT by enabling security and IT control throughout the network. Our market-leading Identity Services Engine (ISE) is a policy-driven, context- and endpoint-aware solution that provides contextual awareness of the who, what, where, and how users are accessing the network, thus allowing businesses to leverage the network to and provide secure access to critical resources, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance.
The Manager of Engineering Operations is a key member of the SPA Engineering Operations team and will be operating as Chief of Staff for the SPA Engineering Leadership Team as well as managing various Engineering Operations initiatives. You will be responsible to run all key engineering meetings staff, all-hands, offsites etc. You will maintain detailed budgets for engineering and work with finance and business operations to manage quarterly and annual targets. You will apply your prior experience, knowledge and understanding of engineering programs to manage interdependencies between various engineering functions, highlight and manage risks and lead engineering process evolution. You will help to plan, develop, and improve engineering processes and work with the Engineering Operations director to implement these in our Engineering operations framework. You will work closely with Engineering, QA, program management, product management, Supply Chain and other cross functional teams to drive excellence in engineering operations.
Who You Are?
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
10+ years engineering operations and business analysis experience. Ideally have 5+ years experiences in cross-functional, global and high complexity projects.
Strong presentation skills - comfortable with collecting, manipulating data and being able to tell the story behind the data
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to communicate clearly to both non-technical and technical audiences
Experience preparing business cases, documentation and driving requirements with global stakeholders
Great teammate with a positive can-do attitude; energetic and enthusiastic
Self-starter who is passionate about operations, product quality, and innovation using technology and driving change
Has a strong sense of ownership, loves turning ambiguity into real outcomes, strong collaborator across functions and matrixed teams, embraces the belief that leadership happens from all levels
Self-motivated, articulate, possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, and have the ability to anticipate business needs
