Impact you will make in the role:

  • Lead and manage a team of local and remote engineers through the technical design, implementation, testing, and deployment of sales engagement related web applications, mobile applications, and supporting services

  • Deliver scalable, secure, resilient, high-availability applications and services running on robust deployment architectures

  • Provide technical leadership to the team in the form of architecture reviews, code reviews, and hands-on programming as needed

  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other engineering and cross functional teams in completing interdependent work items

  • Provide visibility of project/feature status to stakeholders

  • Work with each team member in identifying and making progress toward career development goals

What you need to succeed:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years of direct engineering management of high performing teams

  • 3+ years of direct experience in building and shipping iOS and/or Android mobile applications for high-value enterprise customers

  • 3+ years of direct experience building enterprise grade scalable and resilient distributed systems

  • Proven track record of successful execution of the full product/service development lifecycle from initial planning to release and delivering on schedule

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and to maintain a high degree of technical involvement with your team and applications/services

  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, highly available mobile and SaaS products

  • Experience with client side technologies (HTML5, CSS3) and JavaScript frameworks such as Backbone.js, React, and Angular 2 (and above)

  • Familiarity with Micro-service architecture

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes based application deployment architecture

  • Experienced at managing a global team of full-stack engineers across multiple timezones

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with relational and NoSql databases

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud a plus

This Program Manager position is responsible for the execution of hardware and software New Product Introductions (NPIs) across HPS – from concept, to development to customer delivery. This program manager will leverage the Honeywell NPI and VPD processes to achieve scope deliverables, schedule, cost and related program milestones/ objectives. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver projects on budget, on schedule with identified financial benefits * Successful planning, development, and execution of the assigned product and service development and/ or certification programs to fulfill contractual and business requirements within approved budget & schedule constraints * Utilize program management/development tools such as Accolade, Jira and Confluence to successfully launch the product through Factory/3rd parties and arrange training of the Sales and Operations team on the product * Negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups; settle differences with minimum noise; win concessions without damaging relationships; be direct and forceful as well as diplomatic; gains trust quickly of other parties to the negotiations; has a good sense of timing * Deals effectively with various domestic and foreign third-parties (i.e., customers, vendors, and partners) for the benefit of all programs * Conduct robust due diligence and project execution. Translate strategic plans into actionable projects with accurate costs, schedule and benefits * Execute on projects right and fast. Ensure global use of practical, effective tools and techniques (Agile project management principles, Accolade, Jira, Confluence, VPD) to manage the implementation of programs * Conduct periodic business reviews to provide program status, risk mitigations, escalation, etc * Must be flexible to adapt to the challenges of working across multiple time zones and global regions.
