Major Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages evergreen refresh program process, including the continues improvement of the refresh process.

  • Maintains evergreen refresh budget for end-user devices included in the program such as PC's, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other end-user computing devices.

  • Develops and executes project plans, schedules, and status reports, including a metrics dashboard. Informs the AVP, IS Infrastructure of any problematic variances in project schedules, budgets, or other performance problems and recommends appropriate solutions.

  • Communicates with caregivers and manages any escalations from the business related to the end-user device evergreen program.

  • Collaborates with other I.S. teams (Networking, Unified Communications, Applications, Operations) and other UMMHC departments as appropriate to ensure the seamless replacement of equipment.

  • Manages equipment PAR levels to support device replacement goals.

  • Manages the assignment of devices to be refreshed to the analysts.

  • Develops staff development and training programs/goals.

Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

  • ITIL Certified.

Experience/Skill:

Required:

  • Minimum of five years of management experience in large scale environment including managing projects.

  • Strong technical, communication, management skills and experience in managing the operations of a business. This position typically utilizes management skills more than technical skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills must communicate in a clear and sufficient manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate information to audiences at all levels of the organization, client representatives as well as provide end-user documentation and self-help solutions.

  • Strong team leadership; must be able to collaborate well with others and actively incorporates their input.

Preferred:

  • Healthcare industry experience.

  • Background in IS Infrastructure (i.e., End-user Computing).

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access and data manipulation and reporting techniques.
